I’ve gone into this a lot more in depth here (about their proposal) and here (about their kid) as well as some other details about their relationship versus Emma and Jean’s (just check out my #emmadelyne tag)
But, the Emmadelyne wedding is something quiet, personal. Where Emma and Jean’s wedding is extravagant, a massive event broadcasted for the cosmos to see, two faces of the X-Men (one a world-known socialite and the other the infamous host of the Phoenix Force) marrying, Emma and Maddie’s wedding is something far, far less loud. It’s a small, intimate affair, vows whispered and a kiss shared. While Emma is the type to blast news of her private life to the world, Madelyne isn’t, and Emma understands that. Maddie wants stability, comfort, the safety that comes with something personal and known. And Emma indulges her. This relationship is built on healing, after all, on understanding. Their wedding is a reflection of that.
For house rules, hm… They have two separate places of residence, for one. Maddie lives in Limbo, she doesn’t like Krakoa and wouldn’t want to live at the White Palace, nor would Emma want to abandon her nation to move down into that lovely hellscape. I suppose the house rules are mostly as is, with the doors always being open for the other to walk in whenever they want. However, Emma does find that leaving a portal to Limbo open in her palace made of crystals means that Maddie’s imps can and will pop through to steal chunks of her house when she’s not looking…
Emma is a cuddler. Maddie is a biter. They’re both cats when it comes to demanding snuggles. Everything, and I mean everything, is done behind closed doors, no one gets to see their affection but the two of them (and sometimes the Cuckoos who will fake gag and call them gross). It’s almost the same as Emma and Jean, save for the fact Maddie is far rougher and far handsier with her affection than Jean is. They’re both touch starved and terribly adjusted, what did you expect?
Daily drama? Honestly, there’s probably a lot less petty squabbling than with Emma and Jean. Emma presses Jean’s buttons to get reactions out of her because she thinks it’s cute/funny, not to mention their mindsets are sometimes quite antithetical to one another which would naturally lead to clashes. With Maddie, however, both of she and Emma are very willing to get their hands dirty for what they believe in. Besides, Emma has other methods to get reactions out of Maddie. Jean gets adorably flustered when she’s mad, all Emma needs to do in order to get Maddie flustered is shower her with some affection. Again, they’re both terribly adjusted individuals when it comes to relationships, only this time Emma uses it to make Maddie blush all the easier because she knows how easy it is
As for the kid, you get a lengthier ramble if you check out the post I linked, but tldr the child is raised in a quieter way than Evangeline is with Jean and Emma as her moms. Maddie and Emma’s kid is raised the Princess of Limbo, protected by her devoted mothers, and kept as far from the limelight as they can manage. She grows up learning magic from Maddie and surrounded by a healthy array of demons and imps. This child becomes a fierce warrior under Emma’s tutelage, a powerful sorcereress guided by Maddie’s hand, and a damn force to be reckoned with
