Constantly Learning
After partnering up together for the most recent adventure, where everyone just got guns and had to be the last team standing, Pomni and Jax got closer with every passing second. They both talked about anything and everything. Their past, fears, interests, fun stories, etc.
"I'm learning a lot about you today" Pomni says as they roam the halls after learning about Jax's tyrpophobia. Jax, for a split second seemed anxious about that, but he pushed it off with a smirk.
"Heh! Yeah whatever, we don't have time to rest easy though, we still gotta figure out where the nutcase went"
Pomni nodded before continuing her mini interrogation "So what else are you afraid of? Any other weakness you got that you wanna share?" She teased him as he stumbled a bit on his speech while keeping up the mysterious, tough guy facade.
"Pfft! Yeah right! You got the corn thing because you were there to witness it...im not giving you anything else on me" he put his arms behind his head in what he thinks is a cool guy fashion as Pomni smirked
"That wasn't a no, so you do have more weakness!"
He huffed "No I don't!"
"Yes you do!"
"You're so annoying just drop it, I don't have any other weakness, we have more important things to worry about" He tried to change the subject.
"I'm gonna list a few and you stop me when I get one right!"
"Oh my god..." Jax muttered under his breath as Pomni listed a few fears and weakness that Jax could potentially have. The list was long and ridiculous but there was one that made his eyes turn square and small, as they do when he gets nervous, angry, flustered, or scared.
Pomni's attention was certainly grabbed as she gasped "No way..."
"Pomni..."
"Are you?!"
"Don't you DARE!–"
"Oh my gosh you are! Ahaha!" Pomni bursted out laughing "this is the best day of my life!" Jax's face got more and more flushed as she continued.
"Its not that big a deal okay?! Everyone is! So what?!" He crossed his arms and kept walking.
"I can't believe it! Oh this is gonna be good!" A wide smirk reappeared on her jesterly face as Jax haulted in his tracks.
"I'm sorry what...?" He turned to face her but before he could get a direct answer Pomni had lunged forward tackling Jax to the ground as he let out a surprised scream.
"NO!–Pomni! Get off of me!" He clawed at her wrists to try and pull her off but it was useless, She may be small but damn is she strong! This added even more surprise to his already shocked and semi vulnerable state. She had taken the wrists that were grabbing at her and pinned them up over his head leaving him no chance to fight back.
He looked up at her with confusion and fear but he wasn't actually scared, he's just not used to being vulnerable to someone again, especially not after Ribbit. And to be vulnerable with Pomni was even more terrifying for him. Its also been a hot minute since the man was tickled. A billion curses ran through his brain as Pomni smirked down at him not doing anything yet.
She hummed "this is for throwing me out of a moving truck"
"It was one time!"
"One time too many!"
He smirked gaining his false confidence back "It was funny though"
She huffed "I'll show you funny~"
"Nononono wait! WAHAIT!" With his arms pinned down she used her free hand to wiggle under his arm. He wasn't ready but he had it coming regardless and he knew that deep down too.
Pomni giggled "We haven't even started yet! I'm just testing the waters, this must be a good spot if you're already this loud! Or maybe you were already feeling ticklish before we started" she continued to tease him "I'm gonna say its a mix of both~"
"SH-SHUHuhUT UHUp!" He whined as he tried to squirm free. Legs kicking as a genuine smile graced his features making Pomni smile too. It was a nice sight to see. Almost peaceful, it delighted her to know that Jax was actually happy during this, maybe he didn't hate it?
"POhOhomNi!" He continued laughing but Pomni picked up on his body language fast.
"New spot! Got it!" She said moving onto his ribs and sides making the purple rabbit scream uncharacteristically before bursting into higher pitched giggles and gasps.
"Awwww!"
"Dohohon't!" He tried pushing again now that his arms were free but it was to no avail.
"Such a ticklish bunny~ what if I try here?!"
His mouth opened to scream again as he curled up kicking in every direction possible as his stomach got squeezed through his overalls.
"NAhaha! I CahaHAHAn't!" Pomni was getting happier with the more places her tickly fingers explored. He wasn't insanely ticklish but man was it still satisfying! Nothing like seeing the one who causes the most turmoil in the circus be reduced to a giggly puddle of ticklish revenge.
"PLeHeheHEASe!!" He felt like he was losing his mind but in the best way possible, she was surprisingly good at this.
"You wanna help me pick where I go next?~" She teased as he gasped through his laughter.
"F%$k NOhO! Thats SOHOhoho! NOhohot FAHAHAhair!!" He continued laughing as she smirked
"I told you Jax, today I was gonna be evil~ you called it cringe but look who's laughing now!" She giggled as he could only respond with laughter.
"Thighs or ears Jax? Which one~"
"POMNI!"
"With that reaction I'd say your ears are your worst spot" her smirk got wider as his now square pupils got smaller
"C-Come on now...we're friends! Best buds! A team! Right Pomni? N-No need to go crazy right? RiIII–" Jax squealed this time thrashing around as he let out his genuine laughter.
"NAHAHAHA– F@%K! AHAHAHA!!! POHOHOMNI!!"
Pomni blinked, taking it all in, she was so shocked shes never seen or heard him like this before but it was nice. A soft smile entered her features as she continued. Her gentle touch up and down his ears seeing what could get him the most ticklish, it seems by the base of his ears was the worst so she stuck by that area the most. Foot twitching onto the floor like a dog getting their ears scratched.
"POHOHOHOMNIHIHI!! PLEHEHEHEASE!"
"Admit that it tickles"
"I CAHAHAN'T!"
"Alrighty then~" she continued on that one specific part that really tickled. Spouting all kinds of bleeped out curses he continued to laugh.
"IHIHHIT TIHIHIHICKLES THEHERE! I SAHAID IT I SAHAHAID IT!"
She smiled "Now say you're sorry for throwing me out of a moving truck, for putting Ragatha in the deep fryer, for breaking Gangles happy mask constantly and more!"
"D@$&IT! POHOMNI!"
"I'm not hearing a sorry Jax~" she taunted in a sing-song voice before blowing a raspberry behind his ear.
"NOHOHO! OKAHAHAY OKAHAHAY IM SOHOHOHORRY!!"
Pomni stopped once he apologized and got off him with a smug grin. The game long forgotten by now.
"Wanna get something to eat?" Pomni asked helping him up after he caught his breath. He nodded as they walked together.
"Not a word to the others"
"My lips are sealed"
Thats when they heard gunshots from the distance
"SH%T THE GAME!" they both said simultaneously.
"After?"
"After!"
The two picked up their guns again and got back to the action, still thinking about what happened though. They both learned a lot about each other today. They smiled at each other. Well you do learn something new everyday!
