i struggle a Lot talking about bellatrix because she’s ? a horrible. mess. of. a. person. also a horrible person.

bellatrix was born a slight disappointment, but later just became a challenge. her mother wished for her to be prim and proper, while her father tried to shape her into the son he had never had --- it was confusing, at times, but bellatrix EXCELLED in both. she was able to curl lips in proper smiles and took in the things her father thought her with big eyes.

still, she’s treated as less by her dad at times, she knows that. the blacks are traditional, after all, and while bellatrix is, too, she hates the sexism that lives among them, that she feels too --- she doesn’t start unlearning it until she grows older, to be honest, doesn’t grow aware of the way she’s underestimated because of her gender until later.

was a good student at hogwarts. honestly, bellatrix is really, highly intelligent, and she knew how to apply herself. she didn’t particularly like school ( she hated most of the people there, to be honest ) but by sticking to the common room and putting in the needed time, she got good results. bellatrix was very controlled during hogwarts at most times, and while she wasn’t afraid to speak her purist thoughts & be an asshole, she did so in a calm & collected manner. was just a vocal bully tbh and didn’t do any physical/magical shit bc she just didnt care enough to risk getting in any shit over people she deemed below her.

could’ve started a hell of a career after graduation but she didn’t. not because her mother would disapprove, but because bellatrix was joining the death eaters. in the years prior to her joining, she idealised the cause; she wanted to fight, knew she had it in her to really make a change. she never really questioned the purist beliefs she grew up believing, because she saw no reason to and simply believes it to be true.

she’s been in the game for almost ten years now and she’s climbed a BUNCH of ranks. bellatrix is incredibly dedicated, yikes, and skilled as well, and damn diddly damn, she’s one dangerous death eater fuck her

one reason as to why she’s successful is because bellatrix is clever; it’s not her dedication or skills, per se, but it’s her set of brains that has gotten her this far. she’s strategic and thinks about her actions, doesn’t do impulsiveness ( and thinks it stupid ). honestly she’s Much More capable than she is in the books, because while she’s been growing more and more unstable, she still has much more mental stability & so THINKS more.

is v violent tho. yikes. and angry. has that Famous Black Fam temper. 

presents herself as a charming dark lady who’s DEFINITELY not a death eaters huh huh huh! honestly most people suspect it at this point bc like ,,, it’s bellatrix. she’s charming and nothing can be proven bc she’s a smart cookie, but she’s outspoken and has lashed out in public a few times. 

however she barely does anything without a mask bc she’s NOT DUMb. so YEAH. she sucks. i hate her.
