Transparent moment:

You know, I enjoy my life and love Jesus with all the devotion my distorted little heart can convene, but I'm still not utterly satisfied eating Chinese take-out and watching Netflix by myself. Sometimes I want to share these things with a man, preferably a godly guy with a buoyant laugh, and a unselfish heart! I'm not necessarily restless in my relationship with the Lord; I'm a woman with normal desires, and that’s okay!

New to blogging but I have a lot of stories, poetry things, that I write that I’m now putting to use (better late than never). I like to make people laugh. I have a corky sense of humor. I love to love on people and motivate others in anyway possible.

I created this blog to discuss and express feelings on one of the most undesired titles not earned but given, SINGLENESS! A lot of women don’t want or feel the need to talk about being the “spare”, but lets get something off our chests ladies, WE’RE TIRED OF BEING THE SPARES, and I’m tired of feeling ashamed about it, we all go through a stage like this in our lives so lets talk about it. Spares wtf? Yes the parts or pieces that remain, the just in case. Being single may feel like you’re left as the spare (you) while the pairs (couples) enjoy themselves. You know, one of the most important part of our lives is establishing relationships, we are NOT made to be alone and that’s Gods word.

I’ve been single for a little over 4 years and I feel like I’ve reached a dead end. What I’ve learned since becoming closer to Christ is that “All things work together for the good of them who love the Lord”, even though you may not see results instantly he’s working it out. 

The wait may be the hardest part of the process but the end result will be great and unimaginable. While you’re waiting on that special someone NOW is your opportunity to be come close with your creator and yourself, know who YOU really are. We have desires wants and needs it’s okay to want these things but don’t lose sight.
