Let me know! I am curious.
Anyone interested as to why we (I speak for all trolls in this case I guess) hate bells?
The Elves are evil!
(Spoiler Alert for people who are knew to the series)
Okay, so, my theory is that the Elves, in general, are evil. Not like villain people, but I am confused on how blindly Hilda & Co. trust them.
I mean even in the first episode it already is clear the elves are deceitful people. They never did communicate with the Johanna or even Hilda's ancestors before about the problems they were having with them. Neither did they give plausible and legal arguments on why they should move, just that they should move (from the understanding of the episode). Having lights on or being too loud is in my eyes not a legit reason for such a drastic eviction. And how they should know that they disturb them as the elves never did give them a warning or a complaint before. (And the reason that the paperwork to see them is widely available does not play into the fact that they've never gotten a complaint before that. Okay, so far, they don't really seem bad, just a matter of bad communication.
But still, in the first episode, you can clearly see that Alfur is forging signatures which I think is highly illegal. He says that he filled them out, that is no problem. But he admits that he forged her signature on the paperwork impressively! Hilda only had to give one signature while everyone else had to give multiple ones, so basically, Alfur made an illegal contract that makes it void, so she should have never been able to see the elves if I think about it now.
And let me continue, why do even elves make contracts about everything? Because they want to be protected against any bad things that can happen. As an example, being eaten by a lindworm. I totally understand that as well. But what struck me most is that they write contracts about everything even amongst their own people because they know they are liars themselves. As an example, Bartell, leader of the Bragga family, the lost clan, says in a devaluing and threatening way that they keep their word, so they don't need any of that paperwork. Maybe Alfur was sent by his relatives to find about the lost clan and to finally let the contract be signed, as there are elves in Trollberg already. (Remember when Hilda sent the letter to her mom while being lost? Yea, the elves had a good network there already. So that means the people there already and know a lot about Trollberg as it would seem weird that nooner ever mentioned it. But on the other hand, only the delivery guy and Alfur are the only elves seen in Trollberg (I do not count the lost clan in as they are living in isolation). I mean, even a lindworm is sick of getting used by elves to get them out of their contracts! And if we look at the lindworms fauna on her island it is grown a lot, so I figure she must have been living there for a while, but there are supposed to be no elves in Trollberg?
Elves I don't trust: Alfur; Hiding the fact he is someone of the Aldric family, but telling he is only a good Samaritan. I mean, I always pack something that is passed on for generations in the family if I am moving to a different place. Maybe because it will come in handy. (I really don't see legit reasoning of Alfur moving to Trollberg with his arguments.
Prime Minister and the Cabinet: Obviously, he even admits that he only said to get rid of Hilda to elected. Very power-hungry.
That is my theory why Elves should not be trusted! Hope you can understand my reasoning!
(Please don't take any of seriously, it is just a fun thought; I really don't want to argue over a kid's show.)
Hilda Fan Theory
So a while back I had this theory that the elves are actually really evil with all their paperwork with all of that.
If someone is interested let me know and I will give all my arguments, ill be honest I have 2 arguments, as to why I think this theory could be wrong.
(Please dont take this seriously, it is just an amusing thoughts and my arguments are somewhat valid.
Will be going out later so I cant do it right now. and if noone wants to hear it, I will share it anyways >:C
sometimes u just gotta draw more festive twig
My little Hilda collection, I am proud of it.

Hey @bellhating-troll this is one of the most specific and funny responses I’ve ever gotten.
Anyone else read Hilda and the Stone Forest? I am really excited to see it as an episode one day!
