It’s art, man/woman/other...
In its updated Community Guidelines Tumblr says: “Certain types of artistic, educational, newsworthy, or political content featuring nudity are fine.“ and “Written content such as erotica, nudity related to political or newsworthy speech, and nudity found in art, such as sculptures and illustrations, are also stuff that can be freely posted on Tumblr.”
Based on these lines I’m going to assume this particular blog is acceptable in the eyes of Tumblr. To be sure, I’ll be suspending posting until it’s clear that my interpretation is correct. Using Tumblr the way I do, takes up a lot of time and I don’t want to waste my time on something that’ll be gone in two weeks. I also hope Tumblr will reinstate the search function, especially within a blog, so I can prevent double posts and retrieve information on paintings I posted before. Once I’m sure everything is OK, I will continue to post paintings like I have done for the last year and a half.
My intention is, if all goes well, to return to Tumblr in about a month; let’s say January 1st, 2019. In the meantime: Happy Holidays and a Great 2019!
Reactions are welcome, can’t promise you’ll get a reply...
