Hey everybody! I’m so sorry I’ve been away. This is going to ALL my blogs–cause I’ve been on hiatus from so many for a while.
Honestly the short answer is that I got accepted into a brand new school! The prep for that took a lot of last year, and the adjustment has taken up a lot of this one–it’s a big step away from where I used to be going, and the processing is STILL caught in red tape, and it’s made me incredibly neglectful of my many many blogs.
The add on to that is I just–have taken on so many blogs. Like a total fool. SO many blogs. That’s come with it’s own series of ups and downs–some blogs were put on hold because of my own mistakes, some were just ambitiously put together and then I ran into walls either in logic or in execution. Many of them I want to keep trying to use! Tho some may turn into aesthetic blogs…
Anyways! What I want to say is I’m working on all, as well as ways to make them easier to access for quicker turn around and reply times and actually completing the threads I ask for for once. Thank you so much to @venusbeautyshock for telling me the Chrome Trick that’s gonna really REALLY help with this! You’re a life saver, Air-sempai.
You don’t know what to do with yourself on the 8th. You never do. If you do nothing you think, and thinking is the last thing you want to do (and hilariously, the easiest to do all of the sudden.) Sometimes you walk, but you never like leaving the house for long and you scurry back hoping that he’s still breathing. Sometimes you try to finish projects, but you can never ever focus with the sound of him ripping apart filling your ears.
So this year you paint. You can hear him howling--you know you will even when you put the headphones up. But you need this.
Starting up your music--letting it slide over you. Something soft but cynical, acidic and ominous. Something bubblegum sickly.
A brown pencil is used first, every time. The familiar shape--the circle, the horns. Your back goes cold like icy fire every time.
And then your brush, thick with paint, laps over it. Smooths it. Different designs each time, but similar colors and motifs--you’ve gotten very good at daffodils.
To plot a tattoo one would want thinner work, but tonight isn’t quite about that. The heaviness of the pain slides across the paper like a soothing cream, healing and hiding everything it touches. Your thoughts tangle with the acid sweet lyrics in your ears, which tangle with the screaming of a moirail you cannot help tonight.
She feels the thoughts that always elude her any other day of the year rise up tauntingly fast. She feels the hunger-like empty ache of the beautiful boy who collected her as lovingly as he would any figma and trashed her with barely a notice and an unburdened laugh--a moment that seems forgotten in the present, like it had never existed in the face of True Love (tm). The drywall crumble of a life full of promise being left out in the sun to burn away because of one stupid boy and one malicious girl. Feeling the tv buzz of knowing all that ever loved and believed in her died with the advent of the apocalypse, and the new world was filled only with Them. Feeling the chest-constricting chill of losing her personhood as she slides further into being an object, a fuckdoll and a joke--and ultimately, a calamitous event. The Witch Bitch flew in like a tornado and left hell in her wake, and no one could even fathom why. Why did storms ever strike? They just Happen. They don’t Be.
(Why? Why? Why? What had she ever done, been, to deserve this?)
No, that’s too pathetic for her to even think.
You note that you only let yourself that of course, it’s on HIS day when you think these things. He suffered a millennia--it’s not even comparable. You look like an infant with a hair trigger temper compared to his boundless patience. It’s pathetic.
The thoughts come regardless, and are taken away by the music and the screaming.

- they re-entered Blendo years later when the protective wall was much higher. It was once again asked to be withdrawn for a co champion title for the same reason.
