{ . . . }
The mention of no ac did not deter him. He’d survived in a hole in the middle of Rwanda with no air condition and very small bouts of oxygen every now and again. He figured he could handle it during the summer. Though he didn’t say that a loud. When they were around one another, he didn’t talk about his employment often. Mostly because he couldn’t. Even with that ban lifted, he found it hard to maintain anything other than tight lipped.
"Sounds manageable." He followed the small motion of her hand, and fell in line next to her, ready for the grand tour. "Deer." The word rolled off his tongue as if she’d just gave him a bit of bad news. He had to assume it was because he was paranoid a good portion of the time. Which meant he was liable to shoot someone’s head off if they weren’t a deer.
"No unexpected visitors then that’s good. How close are those houses?" Despite all the promise the place had, he still didn’t like how close they were. Even if they weren’t close at all. Experience had taught him that this was probably one of those places kids and teenagers played around in. Far away from home for freedom, but close enough in case trouble brewed. He wanted neither. He might be forced to line the place with razor wire, just to discourage any strays. A few cuts would help them keep their distance.
As she walked away, Siwon did the same. Footsteps echoing through each empty hall as he explored every room wanting to keep a visual map in his mind. He’d need it later when he tried to figure out if he could make it work. It would need a few different touch up’s but it was nothing he couldn’t make do with if it came down to it. Coming back to where he left her at the window, he crept closer until only a few inches separated them; leaning in.
"What’s the asking price?"
She half listened to the husky words roll from his tongue, and half listened to the whistle of the wind whipping around behind the building. Speaking just broke her relaxation, but she knew this was work for her, and she couldn't be slacking off. So, she managed to mutter a soft string of words, eyes remaining shut. "Ten miles or so. Nothing but old farming couples who keep to themselves. None of them have kids at home." She turned her head to glance out the window, peeking through the frosted glass. Her temple rested to against the cement wall, fingers idly picking at the paint. She was in her own world. The place was so secluded that she almost wanted it for herself. But Belourine knew damn well she wouldn't do well with the solitude; she needs her pets to play with. Thought she could hear his sharp steps fade off down the hall, she never heard the them return, creeping up from behind her. It wasn't until the scratchy words echoed, and the warm breath washed over her face, that she became aware of his presence. She tensed up, turning to press her back to the wall. It started her, but showing it was the last thing she wanted. Belourine finally regained her composure and stepped forward, closing in on the space between them. She reached up to his ear and gently pulled on the lobe, bringing him closer. She held the soft skin between her thigh and index knuckle, lips just an inch from his ear. She made sure he could feel her breath. "There is none. No one even remembers this place. No one." She let go. "This wasn't assigned by my boss. I found this by my own measures and no one comes out here." She felt a slight satisfaction from the way he stood there, completely enveloped in her words. But to keep her calm facade, she turned to the window. She cracked it open halfway, letting the brisk air trickle in. The woman leaned forward to look outside, the curve of her back swooping under the window frame.
{‘even if he’s full of hopes regarding your answer, he’s almost certain you’ll give him a negative one. hence the disappointed face he pulls on before you can actually voice out your decision, and how it takes him a good minute to process the fact you did not say no.} Come on? {‘he repeats almost absent-mindedly, eyes wide open.}
That's what I said. {` her voice is stern, but with a gentle touch, she grabs your elbow, pulling you along. } I don't know what we can do, but I'm sure we will figure something out to entertain ourselves. {` her voice chimed of a slight erotic tone, but her body language remained casual, using her free hand to sip at her tea. } Now hurry up— it's cold. We have to walk, but it's not far.
{‘he doesn’t miss the compliment (he would hear one even three kilometers away) but he choses to ignore it, as he isn’t sure how to react. a thank you would mean he accepts it, but he doesn’t want to appear cocky in front of you, even if it’s definitely part of his personality.} Nothing, I was wondering if you… hm… {‘because you mentioned being exhausted, he isn’t sure if it’s a good thing to ask this.} If you need company or anything- I mean… I’m free right now.
Hmmm. {` she pauses, finger pressed over her lips as she feigns thoughtfulness; she knows her answer already, but chooses to leave you hanging as she pretends to think. } I suppose I could use some company. {` she offers a smile and reaches to ruffle the front of your hair. } Come on.
{‘it’s now a wave of pride he’s hit with, lower lip disappearing underneath his teeth as he bites off a goofy grin.} I did. So- {‘his head tilts to the right in a questioning manner, eyebrows raising slightly.} How it’s going?
{` the expression on your face forces her lips into a smile, head shaking from side to side. } Too cute— I'm fine. I'm just out to get a tea, then I'm going to head home and relax. I'm exhausted. {` she mimics your head tilt and continues to smile. } What are you up to? {` she waits for a response, calm as can be, wondering just how long it will take before you ask to come back home with her. }
Hello there, I'm Taeyong. -salutes lazily with a slight grin.-
Well, hello there. {` she glances over at you, the sweet appearance piquing her interest. } I'm Belourine. It's a pleasure to meet you. {` she extends her hand out to you. } And what brings you to me?
Am I supposed to be scared of you? [`unable to control herself, she pinches your cheeks and smiles.] Gold or bronze? Ah, I'm kidding. You deserve every good award in the book.
Gold! {` she protests, her voice switching to her authoritative tone. } If I didn't love you so damn much, you would be shaking in your boots. {` her expression softens into a smile before she leans in; she covers your face in soft little kisses. }
Do you mind telling me what kind of revenge that is? Is it stomping your foot a thousand times more? [`a laugh slips her lips as she ruffles your hair, fingers twirling small strands of blonde together.]
No. I would do much worse, but since I love you, I won't. {` she nods her head as if she's doing something worth recognizing. } I deserve the medal of kindness. {` she can feel the down hairs that line her nape begin to stand on end, but she does her best to conceal the feeling; her hands wandering over to your hips, holding them gently in her palms. }
Yah, I'm only older than you by a few months. Don't go childish on me. [` she scrunches her nose in a slightly bothered manner before pulling you close into a tight hug.] Unless you don't mind being called baby Bel.
{` her eyes narrow, internally shooting darts at you for the remark. } I'm not being childish! {` her protest is accompanied by a stomp of her foot before she gets pulled into a hug. } Ugh.... If you didn't give such good hugs, I'd take revenge. {` she returns the hug, arms wrapping tight around me. } I'm no baby.
Why is a secret so obvious? [` she taps your nose playfully, laughing stupidly before covering her face.] Oh man, you're perfect.
Obvious? {` small crinkles form on her nose as she scrunches her face up; her foot stops against the ground in a childish manner. } Perfect? No you!
[` swinging their hands gently, a small laugh slips her lips before she quickly pecks your cheek.] You're so cute sometimes.
Cute? {` her eyes roll playfully before she nods in defeat. } But it's our little secret. You're the only one who knows that. So shhhh~ {`she slips her fingers between yours and swings them again. }
[` her cheeks flush a deep red before looking down shyly, hands tugging yours down before looking back up.] I love you too, Bel.
{` she lets you pull her hands, but never let's go of your hands, squeezing them gently as she begins to smile. } You do?... That's a relief...
Uh, [`she blinks slowly, a hand resting on top of yours before nodding slowly] yeah. Go ahead.
Good. {` she takes in a deep breathe, brushing the soft pads of her thumbs over your round cheeks. } I love you. {` too nervous to wait for a reply, she leans in to steal a kiss. }
