Broken-hearted

I love dogs and cats and I really really want to adopt either of the two. So our neighbor ask us if we want to adopt their white puppy and of course I said Yes! And she went back to get the puppy, when she came back my mom is already home I told her I really want to keep the puppy but she just ignored me so I just played with the pup. We played for 2 hours and he was so sweet. He followed me wherever I go and I can't help but fall in love with him but then my mom came to me and told me that she called dad and said we can't keep the puppy. I was broken-hearted, I kept crying and crying, it was so sad. Even though it was only for a short time I felt like we already bonded. I miss him even now.
