This protective side, Chat shows when he’s around Ladybug or Marinette it’s like it comes on instinct. He tries to make it sound like it’s nothing, but repeatedly he has risked his life for her, never sure he’ll be able to leave the situtation unscratched and this time was no different. This scene shows that ironic side, because of course he risked something, and Chat knows it.
