Ben called out for two glasses, smiling at Naomi, handing her one and keeping the other for himself. "To whatever this is," he smiled, holding out his glass.

She tried to smile,shrugging her shoulders back a bit. “He wants to become a better person, turn over a new leaf and coming to this ridiculous party isn’t going to do any good…" She mocked him.Her lips curved into a half smile. "So…he abandoned me… and so here I am- drinking and looking for someone I actually feel like talking to… I would say I found him but- it seems like you and that new girl are hitting it off rather nicely… by all means- if i’m intruding…" she motioned towards the other end of the room.

"Liz, are you going to get defensive every time I talk to girls?" Ben asked, "Anyways, if you want to talk, you know I'm all ears. And at least Rick is trying to make an effort to be better for you. If that was his reasoning, I'm not sure I can argue with him. I only came because I needed a distraction."

"Well than. It looks like our so far short relationship is based on looks alone. I hear that’s the definition of unhealthy."

"Vampire or demon? Probably the first, you don’t strike me as a demon. It’s cool, I can’t judge. Most of my family are kitsune, I’m the odd human out."

"Now, do you want to go get those drinks?"

"You are correct. Vampire. And yes I would definitely like to get those drinks," he said, gesturing her to lead the way.

"Is your plan to get me drunk mister?" Naomi raises her eyebrows jokingly. "Because if it is, I’m completely okay with it."

"Well, now that I've succeeded in my first plan, I need to have another, don't I?" he joked sarcastically. "Really, I need someone around to make sure I don't drink myself to death... If I can even do that anymore."

Ben rolled his eyes. "I didn't want to be a vampire in the first place, what makes you think I'd enjoy feeding from people?"

"Well, long story short, I came here, fell in love with a vampire girl, Liz Mikaelson, who had a boyfriend. Not exactly a good way to start off in this town. Either way, he wanted to kill me, so she gave me some of her blood, and ended up killing me. I was sired to her for a bit before I broke the bond. Turned off my humanity, turned it back on. She's now engaged to her first boyfriend. And I'm left with a craving for blood."
