Ineffable Husband’s Love Confession

Aziraphale had been talking about the future and Crowley had been listening of course. He was in a daze watching his angel so excited, both of them finally free…

“…I love you very much and if we can be happy together then why not?”

Those words had never been uttered until that very instant and Crowley needed a moment to collect himself before he asked for clarification, “Wait, you love me?”

Aziraphale chuckles sweetly, “Well of course I do, I thought you already knew that.”

“Well I don’t know…” Crowley starts, “I thought you were just putting up with me for the last 6,000 years…”

“You silly demon…” Aziraphale laughs.

“Well of course I…” Crowley pauses, not because he didn’t know it was true but because he’s never said the words before, “I love you too Aziraphale…”

The angel gives a soft smile, the demon does too, embarrassment on his cheeks.
