“SIDNEY SHELDON'S BLOODLINE” (1979)
i love my fucked up rayburns i love how deeply selfish and wrong they are i love the fun new ways they find to betray each other!! poisonous sibling dynamic of legend.
OK J COULDNT THINK OF A NAME FOR AVA X EVA THAT WAS AS GOOD AS BLOODYMARY but NOW I PROPOSE RO YOU TODAY:
BLOODLINE
(The blood stuff + Petrova line, and blood is red so red line of blood yknow)
Alternatively if you don’t want it to be blood it could be Ironline but I like Bloodline. Third alternative: Petrova Lung? Still on Bloodline I think.
Another update: I have just been informed there is also ‘Trolley operators’ which I love
CD haul
(Most from the 99cent bin, grabbed artists I had never heard of to switch it up +Alice in chains because Alice in chains
My thoughts on the 1st one or 2 songs from each
1.bloodline -expected it to be metal but it's actually blues rock and roll and it really makes it work, not usually my thing but I will listen to the rest because it's fairly enjoyable
2.disturbance- heavy Ozzie Osborne influence on this one, good quality audio, anticipating listening to the rest of the album
3.The poorboys -pearl jam if the guy could actually kind of sing.
4.shark inferno -the one you've all been waiting for, because, well. Uh. It looks like that. Pleasantly surprised by 2016 grungerock from Michigan made by 2 weird dudes who like boobies. 1st track reminds me of Melvins in a weird way
5.3 car garage - was expecting late 80s British pop and was given British grunge music from the early 90s, I wouldn't have minded the ladder but I still consider this a pleasant surprise (heard the name before but I still wasn't expecting them to sound like that)
6.kathleen edwards - country inspired rockish music made 2 years after 9/11 that isn't an overpatriotic industry plant!!! Girldinner? No. Girlalchoholism.
7.Zola jesus -true to form 2010 weird girl ethereal music, the middle ground between me and my brothers music taste and I really want to keep listening because her voice is legitimately gorgeous and carries the music rather than just being a part of it, which I don't mind one bit. Highly recommend to those with 2010s themed girlblogging accs I think it fits the vibe
8.the vines -standard issue radical hippie rock, didn't change my life but still alright(a little folky but not enough to put in the folk rock category imo) I've heard their name before so I might piss someone off by saying that it's just ok
I will be listening to the full albums on the plane ride home from Michigan and following up with a rating for each!
