shit man is crash twinsanity unconventional enough... everything acapella, nothing but lip flapping (with a few digital filters applied I guess) even the cutscenes which consist largely of musical cues timed to the character's actions

the other 2 games I know with any acapella music whatsoever is crash tag team racing which mixes it with fuckin instruments FUUUCK but not for the overworld and also one singular song in we love katamari in the tutorial level. fuckin mario sunshine made a soundfont out of acapella sounds and used it for the secret stages OK thats kinda cute i guess. pussies. literally nothing else? not one sonic game that i feel like that franchise tries every type of music at least once? fuck dude
