        Packing her things up for college was proving to be more difficult than she’d imagined — it was the first time she’d come back to her house after her father’s death. I probably should have taken up Caroline’s offer to help, she thought to herself before she heard several consecutive knocks at her door. Bonnie frowned, her eyes darting once to her bedroom window where it was pouring viciously outside, wondering who it could be as she headed downstairs to answer the door. It swung open, revealing Jeremy dripping from the storm that was still raging on since earlier that day. “Jer, what are you doing here?” she asked in disbelief, moving forward to take a hold of one of his hands to pull him inside quickly and close the door. “I thought we weren’t meeting up until later.” A small smile split across her lips nonetheless, already feeling her mood being to lighten again.

        It was peaceful and still as she stood in front of the Salvatore fireplace, the only sound coming from the crackling of the fire. It was a telltale difference from the solitude she experienced on the other side, the empty, depressing void it filled her with constantly. Standing here now, it was impossible to rid herself of the smile she’d had across her lips since she realized she was actually back and alive (well — to a certain extent).

        A noise sounded from behind her, breaking her from her reverie. “Jer —?” she began as she turned around to inspect it, but she cut herself off once she saw that it was in fact someone else. "Damon." The smile  instinctively grew at the sight of the elder Salvatore. "Long time, no see."

     Bonnie’s expression was priceless; almost worth the whole ‘handcuffed’ thing. Katherine rolled her eyes.

                           ”Oh yes Bonnie, I handcuffed us together.”

                                                                                  Katherine scoffed.

        “Keys?” Katherine questioned, again holding up their wrists. “No keys, little witch. Seven days,” she said slowly, tilting her head; her tone bitter.

The vampire held the handcuffs up to the witch’s face, “see?” She sighed, studying the girl’s expression. Katherine looked  down to what she was wearing, a black lacy shirt, and underwear. Christ; she sighed internally. She so didn’t need to know if she banged the Bennett witch. And if she did, she wish she could at least remember it.

She wished she could remember anything from the night before; especially if it might help get the damn cuffs off. But in Katherine’s experience, things such as these didn’t have much of a short cut.

                   ”Looks like we’re stuck together, Bennett;” she said bitterly; smiling humourlessly.

        Emerald hues shot up to glare at the vampire sitting next to her; as though the witch didn't have enough reasons to believe that the woman would go out of her way to make things difficult (and not to mention completely mortifying) if only to amuse herself.

        Though before she could open her mouth to say all of this and more, her eyes moved down to look at the linked chains Katherine raised to her face. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she inspected the two, tiny words engraved upon the sheath of metal. Seven days. Seven days. What did that--- ?

                             A groan slipped from her lips as the horrid realization dawned on her.

"A witch handcuffed us together. For a week. A witch. What the HELL happened last night?!" Even in a drunken state of mind -- a really drunken state of mind --, she should have been somewhat alert to something that had transpired the night before.

          Not giving Katherine an iota of her attention, Bonnie began reciting a couple of spells to see if there was any possible chance she could undo the one that locked the chains, but she eventually gave up, knowing the pit in her stomach telling her it was hopeless was right. The Bennett rested two fingers against her temple, her eyes shut as hoping to calm the raging hangover by massaging the side of her head gently.

        "How....are you even here right now?" Bonnie began, confused, as she looked over at Katherine. "I mean, I was out with Elena and Caroline last night -- ugh," she groaned again, her hand flopping down next to her as her headache continued to dominate her attention despite the completely disastrous situation she was in. "You know what -- I need some aspirin before I even figure any of this out."

                        It was incredible how she managed to momentarily forget that she was physically linked to Katherine Pierce -- as she moved to lift herself off the bed, she could feel pressure pulling her back before she quickly remembered once more. "Do you mind?" the witch sighed, throwing a sharp look towards the vampire before casting her eyes downwards to see what she had on. A silk camisole and the short skirt she'd worn out the night before. The brunette relieved an internal sigh this time around, grateful that she at least had most of her clothes still on.
