Miraculous is nuts cuz like it's adored by 4yos worldwide (because the first few seasons are as formulaic as it gets) so I always feel just a little embarrassed about wearing my t-shirt in public but then I go home and turn on season 6 and it's rapidly descending into a psychological horror featuring emotional warfare and sporadic scifi/fantasy representations of a bunch of random facets of our irl apocalypse and the hero/protagonist is gaslighting her boyfriend/partner/deuteragonist into questioning his very reality as she falls deeper into the pits of isolation and mental illness. The intended audience is God and anybody strong enough to buckle down and stay on the ride.

yeah i think i have thoughts about the eah characters texting hextin wow!!

apple has five billion photos of briar sleeping in the most godawful absolutely worst angles ever. like its incriminating. she has made them into stickers and she will use them while hexting. briar retaliates by sending 0.5 zoom pictures of apple from a top down view angle that she took of her because briar is super tall while apple is super short. this LEGALLY cannot make it out of their hexts

i will explain this next one the best i can: raven has this photo of maddie jumping at the camera (or something idek) and she sends it to people when they ask her something along the vibes of "how the HEX are you gonna do that " or like "that's not possible" if ykwim. the idea comes from how maddie's thing is that everything is possible to her until she knows it's supposed to be impossible lol. she doesn't explain it to people either she just sends it and the other person will be like "???" un til they figure it out or she explains it. when i think about this i think about how in pokemon they'll be like "pikachu i choose you!!" or whatever i never really got into pokemon lol

The Anne Shirley Opening dropped and Naoko Yamada has delivered yet another masterpiece.

Love everything about it, be it the song or the animation itself. It captures her personality so well, as well as the nature of the show. Just the way they captured her body language is perfect.

Some really strong openings this anime spring season, but this is a top contender.
