Teeny mutant ninja turtles dynamic interpretations (for my fic)

Splinter, somewhere between an apathetic parent and a good one. I would put him as a single mother dealing with postpartum depression; he knows he should love his kids and he tries his best, but he doesn't love them in the right ways. He mourns the loss of his life as a human and projects onto Leo hard.

Age 14 April, shes not completely subsumed into the family yet, closest to Don, but helps with the rest of the brothers, Raph and Splinter are the most untrusting of hwr

Age 13 Don, the oldest, was never particularly good at ninjitsu so dad kind of lost interest in him, tries to show off to his father with his inventions but because of wacky conundrums like Phineas and Ferb they always break if before he can show his father.

Age 11 Leo, older of the middle children, good at ninjitsu and noticed that lack of attention from splinter that they got and becomes a daddy's boy because of this fear of becoming like them, struggles with failure and his brother's succeeding.

Age 10 Raph, younger of the middle children, decent at ninjitsu, often feels dismissed by his dad so often acts out, especially with Leo to get attention, but he just doesn't get it still. Clings to Mikey a lot, who tends to get a lot of the worst of his mood swings. Perhaps some type of BPD.

Age 8 Mikey, the youngest, closest to Raph, deals with a lot of mood swings from him, doesn't really care that much about his dad and prefers to bother Don with his issues.
