Ok so Iāve been reading loads of part 6 lately and for some reason Iāve been just absolutely fascinated with the existence of this guy and his little alligator puppet, Charlotte. Heās only seen a few short times but heās just become my favourite random minor character somehow.
There isnāt much information about him so I feel like it is now my duty to fill in the blanks!!
To start off: Iāll refer to him as Locco for short.
Locco is a prison manager working at the Green Dolphin Street Prison. However this is not exactly his preferred job!
Locco has always wanted to become a professional puppeteer (as demonstrated with the existence of his handy sidekick, Charlotte). He has always incorporated puppetry into most projects and activities in his life (such as presentations when he was in school).
He was often bullied as a kid due to his short and stubby appearance. He was often also picked on for always carrying a puppet on his hand.
How did he become so fascinated with puppets?
Locco grew up with an absent father, however he has a very strong relationship with his mother. They often would go to antique shops on weekends for fun. One day Locco came across a basket of old cloth hand puppets. It was in this pile that one caught his attention; a dusty green alligator with a pink bow on its head!
Locco bought the puppet with the bit of money he had saved up and decided to name it Charlotte (after his mother).
Locco would yell at people with his puppet when they made fun of him. It was like a way for his mom to defend him when she wasnāt there. (Sometimes it would make a bully laugh and decide to leave him alone)
Loccoās life outside of work:
Locco has known since high school that he wasnāt straight. He isnāt gay either though. He is attracted to people regardless of gender. He is pansexual! His mother has always been supportive and told him āAs long as your heart knows that someone is right for you, nothing else matters.ā
Locco has been good with his money and owns a relatively large apartment.
He lives with his Italian partner, Andrea (Andrea is non binary)
Andrea HEAVILY supports Loccoās ambitions to become a professional puppeteer and even shares the same passion to some degree (not as much as Locco though).
Together they have been working on getting a kids show in the making that will feature Charlotte the alligator as the lead character.
Andrea works on the side as a barista and also has thought about opening up their own small cafƩ
Charlotte isnāt his only puppet but she is his favourite so he uses her the most
He has a collection of over 48 rare antique puppets
Locco is actually a distant relative of Shigechi Yangu!
Locco is not a stand user
