The afternoon heat wakes me, ahead of the alarm that I set. My eyes still blurry as I check what has transpired in my absence.

Continuing on with mindless daily routine, confined within the four corners that I call home.

Jumping into virtual interactions for work. Enduring an introvert’s nightmare for hours. Struggling to stay afloat in an endless pool of jargons I don’t fully understand.

The bursts of panic when issues arise. The restlessness, hours before my presentation. The sinking feeling of not knowing all the answers.

Anticipating the end of my shift. Only to find that it will begin again.
