SLEEPTALK AU INTRO POST

(Ooc) HELLO GUYS!!!! This is BerryBuggz! I made a rp/ask blog for Sleeptalk AU where I draw Howard’s responses to you guys (and even Philip and Angelique’s responses if you ask!)

For anybody who doesn’t know, Sleeptalk AU features Howard after the good ending of TIODM (I won’t spoil but if you’ve seen it then you know) and he experiences some strange symptoms (shown below)

All this ends up haunting Philip as he has to deal with Howard “sleepwalking” at odd hours of the night with zero recollection of anything the next morning.

Sorry if this post is short, I made an earlier one but it got flagged as mature content and I’m trying to make it short in hopes it won’t happen again.

I wanted to make a pride month post talking about my “egg cracking” but I’m pretty sure egg terminology is exclusively for trans women (not too sure but I’ve only ever seen trans women use that term so I’m gonna be safe and assume it’s trans women only) so instead I’m using caterpillar and butterfly terminology for my experience (idk if that’s also exclusively to a community that idk about but if it is please inform me) so anyway, here’s some fun facts about my metamorphosis!

For the first year of being in the chrysalis I identified as omnigender before eclosing (butterfly term for hatching out of chrysalis) realizing I preferred being a man.

The first person I came out to was a nonbinary friend I had in the 7th grade.

While still a caterpillar I would go to the mirror in the bathroom, pull my hair out of view, and linger in the fact I looked like a boy. The first time I did this is when I was five and kept doing it up until 7th grade (when I realized). When I started growing breasts I would then push those inward AND hold my hair back.

Also around the age of 7 I would insist to my mother that I’d one day grow a goatee.

That’s all I have about that. Happy pride month guys!!!!!

Monthly occurrence I have. Is this normal or a sign of an underlying issue?

Like, this feeling for two minutes and then I’m back to normal and happy with my gender. Maybe I’m just nostalgic for my closet phase where I thought I was a lesbian. Either way I’m pretty sure this isn’t normal and it’s making me question myself. Maybe I just want to feel as “normal” as I think I can be so I’m defaulting for what I identified as when I was 11.

Uhhh, meet Sleeptalk AU!

Basic summary is:

After the events of the game Howard has been experiencing minor symptoms like headaches and brief glimpses into the close future alongside his eyes slightly glowing a green hue. At least, that’s all he knows about.

Phillip, on the other hand, gets to see a different side to Howard’s new predicament. Howard’s been wandering around at night, muttering nonsense. Along with that, Phillip has noticed clocks ticking backwards too. But, Phillip’s just seeing things, of course! Besides, Howard can’t even recall these events, so it must just be in Phil’s head!

Tiodm OC, her name is Winifred Gidget! She was brought on the island as an assistant mechanic, her job being to help repair any machines that broke down. After Doctor Morose went mad, she survived by hiding out in the ventilation system. Winifred was willing to die of starvation rather than whatever fate the Doctor would’ve chosen for her. But after some strange man in a brown hat shows up in search of his friend, she starts to think there MIGHT be a way to live, even if indirectly.
