hiii!! first of all i hope your having an amazing day and i love following your sim's story on tiktok so much! i wanted to ask you just a few questions!

my first question is if you play fully with autonomy and let the game/your mods take action and play around that or do you stay strict to your story? for example did you plan out astraea's parents dying or did they actually die unplanned by using the game/a mod functions? essentially what i mean is if you control your game/story or does your sim's autonomy influence it!

my second question is an extension of the first kind of, how do you create the side characters (friends/lovers and maybe family?) for your main sims? do you makeover random townies and see who they naturally gravitate towards? add in a bunch of your own sims and see who they like the most? or do you properly plan out these relationships and force the relationship to fit your storyline?

the last question i had is actually based on a past ask you answered from someone else! i was intrigued when you said that you retroactively went back and played with astraea as a teen and i'm super curious about the logistics of that (if it doesn't spoil your story!) did you already have an idea of who astraea was before this and then after playing her teen years did add in more lore to her story? or did you play her teen years with a storyline for it in mind? or did you create astraea with no story in mind and just completely went in blind, letting whatever happened happen?

Hey!! So with adeepindigo’s travel mod, sims have a chance of getting in to accidents via either car or plane and dying. Totally autonomous there unfortunately lol.

On occasion, I’ll do makeovers if I see potential in some townies but it’s pretty rare. I usually just create the sim in cas and move them in to the neighborhood. Unless I have a specific plot in mind, I let them gradually gravitate towards each other. Definitely had some strange couples and hookups with that though😭

For the third question, I’m a serial saver! By that I mean I had manyyyyy save files up right before an important moment would happen in my game (i.e. someone aging up, getting in to a serious relationship, moving etc). I really enjoyed playing with her and her family and did have a bit of a storyline going on at the time, same as the one presents ofc. Wish I knew sooner people would be just as interested, I would’ve started learning how to film and do content much sooner! Lol

Hi, i wanted to know how you made astraeas pregnancy so long? Did you use ui cheats to extend it or another mod and how long did you set it to? ♡

Hi!! So I mainly used ui cheats. There’s an option to extend the amount of sim days it takes for the pregnancy to come to term. Because I do videos, I had her pregnancy on pause until I was ready for the next term. Hope this was helpful for you!

Do you by any chance use cheats in your game (I’m talking cheats similar to money or MCCC/UI cheats) to set up your storylines or do you just play organically and work towards your vision? In particular did you use these kinds of cheats initially to set up a backstory/relationships when you first started your save or did you just build up your storyline organically from a blank save? Hey!! So I do use both mccc and ui cheats in my game for certain situations. Because Astraea’s home has loooots of furniture, they rack up her bills to be $7500+ which in my opinion is pretty insane for just rent. I adjusted the taxes a bit so now she only pays about $2000. Casaan and Astraea both have their own separate jobs, save money in their account using the SNB bills mod, and they’ll eventually be house hunting with the SimsRealist mod!

Initially, I did set it to where Astraea’s parents had a good amount of money in their account (which I did cheat to get lol). That money was passed down to both Astraea and her brother after they passed. The money came and went pretty quickly after she bought her first home business.

So to sum up everything, I do try to play organically but occasionally, I may cheat some money back. Also hope you’re having a great day as well☀️!!

Hi! I've been watching your videos for some time now and have always been amazed at the quality of them, even while posting on tiktok. I've been struggling to get my videos to be good quality when posting there, so I wanted to ask if you're willing to share what platforms you use to film and/or edit. Btw I edit my videos using canva and put them into tiktok format in capcut, just for reference 🙂‍↕️

I use obs to record and either TikTok’s editor or capcut! I do have my game set to ultra graphics so that may play a part as well.

hiiii i think your content is amazing and i've been following you for a couple months now and you've really inspired me to start my own sims content🫶🏽 i'm a bit shy lol so i'm anon for now, but i wanted to ask a few questions!!

my first question is how did you decide on a final idea for your content? bc rn i'm so stuck between posting storyline content revolving 1-2 sims similar to your content and other creators that i enjoy, or if i should post more generations style content? honestly i'm leaning more towards the first but i'd love to hear the input of another simmer bc i have no sims friends💔

the second question i have is honestly such a silly question that probably is really answer myself, but how did you actually start posting? i feel like this is my procrastination issues projecting, but i'm just kinda unsure how to start posting on simblr/simstwt (maybe even tiktok if i have the guts lol)?? do you think just posting random screenies of my sims and small story pics are a good place to start ir there anything else you'd recommend?

the final question i wanted to ask (sorry if this sounds so odd😭) is how do you make friends in this community? a big part of why i even want to start making content is to make sims friends bc i have nooo irls who gaf about sims its so sad, but i'm unsure how to go about it online? if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi!! I know you asked this a while back so hopefully my advice is still helpful xx

For me, I prefer centering certain sims over a wide arrangement of them. But I feel like depending on how many sims there are, generations could be really fun to post too!

When I started posting, I’d post about three times a week and really only did videos. Even now, I still go by the same schedule since that’s what works well with tiktok. I’ve never used twitter for posting screenshots but it is fairly easy to post them on tumblr! Just make sure they’re eye-catching and your hashtags are relevant.

If I’m being honest, it can be a little hard gaining friends sometimes! When I first started out, people would comment on my videos and I’d do the same for them until we followed each other back. It helps to step out of your comfort zone and really engage with their content, maybe even dm them about an interesting moment they had in their story or ask for advice! Only interact with people that share that same energy though☺️

Heyy! Idk if you've been asked this before but what would be your tips for someone who wants to create a good constructive storyline like you have?

Like mainly how do you really even start?

Hi!! I know the process is different for everyone but I’ll tell you the process I had while making a storyline🙂‍↕️

When it comes to creating a storyline, it helps to already have the sims made, play around with them for a bit and then brainstorm. It really helps to watch shows, read book or fan fiction that’s related to the genre you’re doing. It also helps to use an outline on how stories are typically structured. Write down key events, plot twists, and background information down prior to filming.

Always keep up with the information you have down for each character. Suuuuper important because you’ll have a lot of people asking follow up questions.

Or like what packs would you recommend for someone to have for a decent game play?

I think it mainly depends on your game play style. If I had to make a list based on my top favs, it would be Growing Together, Seasons, Get Together, City Living, Snowy Escape, High School Years, Parenthood, Life and Death, and Adventure Awaits.

I feel like the last one is arguable but since the children really don’t have that much depth to them, I kind of enjoyed the pack.

If you can, please find a way to get the packs discounted to a considerable extent…ifykwim

hello hello!! i'm here from tiktok! i wanted to ask what skin cc you use for baby kimora! whenever i have infants in my game they are SOOO ugly and kimora is so kewt ToT

Hey thank you! Infant are definitely hard to deal with so I definitely understand your struggle lol.

So Kimora uses Northern Siberia Winds infant skin N1, Poyopoyo’s eyelids, sims3melancholic’s baby skin v2 overlay (opacity is lowered with the color slider mod), kijiko’s eyelashes, s3melancholic’s highlighter, nsw’s nose blush and lip color overlay.

I also created a custom hair color using joshseoh’s hair color overlay. Didn’t want her to be too red like dad. Hopefully this is helpful🤍
