The clock clock white, 2011

Re-contextualizes time in a mix of old and new, analogue and digital. The clock is made of 24 two-handed analogue clocks. Six clocks make up a number, each of them displaying either one of its corners or one of its sides. All 24 clocks create one giant display similar to that of a digital watch. This work is notable for its digital/analogue format and the choreography that takes place between the minutes.

Développant un vocabulaire minimaliste et graphique, Yenwen Tseng est un designer taiwanais qui a été diplômé de l’université de Konstfack à Stockholm, avant de passer par l’agence de Todd Bracher à New York et de créer son propre studio en 2011. Il présentait quelques-unes de ses pièces pour la première fois lors du dernier salon Maison & Objet.

Pour décrire un bon modèle d’affaire, rien de mieux qu’un bon dessin. C’est l’idée qu’Alex Osterwalder et Yves Pigneur ont développée en proposant un outil moins austère et plus fluide que le business plan classique.
