- Baby! Talk! Us!

- Teach us new things

- Help your little as much as possible

- Never yell or raise your voice, just use a stern tone

- Give them rules and chores

- See if their ok with punishments

- Ask how to help them get into little space

- Be prepared to deal with tantrums

- Be prepared to do a lot for your little

- never ignore us!

- Pay attention to the little things they do

- Play with your little

- Listen to our rambles

- Learn what our non verbal noises and actions mean

🌼run them a nice warm bath, get some bubbles and toys !

🌼tickle or play peek-a-boo!!

🌼hold their hand

🌼ask them to draw or write what’s wrong

🌼bring their favorite stuffie or toy to them

🌼wrap them in a comfy blanket!!

🌼and maybe your baby just needs some time alone! let them have a nap if they need one!

🌼 and remember to always always always be there for your baby!! they always need your love and care in their dark times!

calming a little on the verge of, or having an anxiety attack

some littles will want your physical comfort, others may feel claustrophobic and might need some space to calm down. if they push you away, it’s not to be rude, it’s to make them feel less panicked!

counting helps, little or not. point to inanimate objects and ask them to count each one. (ie: cars, doors, windows, etc) focusing on something small makes the bigger issues go away for a second

breathing exercises to steady heart rate and shakiness!

move to a quiter and more reserved area, as outside noise could worsen, or trigger another attack

do you carry around a comfort item for your little? now would be a great time to pull it out!

sweet, kind, encouraging words (ie: “mommy/daddy’s got you” “you’re okay, everything is alright” “you’re safe right here with me”
