I realize I can now pin posts at the top of my blog, yes I know that's been a thing for some time but never thought to do it to my blog. My blog has forever been flagged as mature and I can't set up a profile picture, so this is the next best thing. I've had this blog for 12+ years, so I kinda don't want to let it go by creating a new blog.

I've been following new people and thought this post would help others to know that I'm a real person behind the blog and not some bot.

12 years ago, i posted Sami winning the NXT championship for the first time. This one is truly for the ride or die fans out there.

I'm so delighted by Byron Saxton here--first his knowing smile at Sami saying he's never at a loss for words, then that real joyous smile hearing the audience cheer for the new champion.

Byron started commentary in NXT around when Sami arrived, and came to the main roster at almost the same time as Sami, so they've been working together a long time along the same trajectory!
