Does post-S2 depressed Vox end up even fatter than his CRT-chan days, or does he always sort of stabilize at the same level of pudge?

guess it depends how severe Vox's post season 2 depression is and how fast he's gonna get pulled out of that dark mental pit. the longer he stirs in his misery, the more he stops caring about himself and what he puts into his body - be it junk food, booze or drugs.

Agreed about Vox needing thighs and the works when he gains weight. I started drawing chubby Vox (not posted though… it’s for the 📺🦋 mpreg fanfic, but I’m not as good at digital art as I am with traditional (I can never get the lines smooth enough 😢)) and I got it mostly situated on his stomach, thighs, and butt in my drawings, which just feels right for him in my opinion (may or may not have drawn my own playboy bunny chubby Vox, with it having him looking at his own butt, lol).

Btw, you got any suggestions for reference photos to use? I’ve been struggling to find some good ones to help with how the clothes would lie and stuff (especially when/if he outgrows a piece of clothing…)

Also, you are very much right about the neck. How does that even work with his side profile (or the side profile in general, lmao 🤣)?

(especially that bunny one omg) n yeah, switching from traditional to digital is quite a process to get comfortable to;; it certainly took me a while to get accostumed to drawing on a graphic tablet while looking up at the screen in front of you haha

I'm sorry, I usually don't use references much when I draw larger bodies/cloth folds and such;; I mostly just draw it out of habit/practice (or bullshit my way through lol)...and when I want something specific like a certain pose I usually hunt it down on pinterest or google it. it also helps looking at other people's art and analyze how they draw certain things! there are quite a bunch of artists who are amazing at drawing larger bodies and going through their twt and various reblogs helps for inspiration

RIGHT? xD Instinctively, I want the neck to connect with the underside of the screen...but if his neck his thicker it doesn't work with the flatscreen head sdjsjf so I just...try to awkwardly connect it to the back of the TV screen - which also looks super dumb, but such is the fate of Vox, I guess 😔

he HAS to have thicc thighs too! and thick arms...thick everything. stretch marks too! the whole package, yknow? I also try to make his neck thicker but we don't talk about the unfortunate state of Vox's neck

I've been thinking for a while about drawing Vox in different of his (official) outfits, it's still on my to-draw list...and I agree, CRT-chan in a flapper dress WOULD make Alastor lose his mind! perhaps other dresses/costumes as well...I like the idea that it was meant as some sort of teasing/humiliation at first, but then Al saw how stunning Vox looks in them and now he keeps trying to put him into all sorts of outfits (but demands Vox to keep them wear them in private, nobody else needs to share that stellar view)

Alastor desperately trying to get Vox back after fucking everything up is one of my favorite things, like it just gets worse and worse because Alastor is so fundementally insane. Endless love/threatening letters, outright stalking, unhinged declarations of affection like something out of a horror movie.

I just don't know if I like scared Vox or exasperated Vox more. Like should he lock himself in V tower with his kids or spray Alastor with a hose every time he sees him loitering on the lawn out front?

HJDHDJFH the mental image of Vox spraying Alastor down with a hose has me sending omg 😂😂😂

personally, I always prefer it if Vox isn't scared of Alastor at all, to me it's the basis of their freak4freak relationship, they are both equal levels of insane, but the scale is constantly tipping depending on the circumstances (like in this case where Alastor goes the full on crazy stalker route that Vox did before they got together and reproduced like bunnies)

Just had a thought: Val going down on Vox, but as he looks up adoringly at Vox's the lower half of Val's face is obscured by Vox's tummy, so it's just Val peeking up at him

!!!! YESSS. also, Vox just...not being able to see past his gut anymore, and it's both super embarrassing and hot that Val has to push it up to even reach Vox's crotch anymore

CRT Vox knew what he was doing, wearing that tight sweater vest… clinging to his curves, leaving nothing to the imagination… letting Alastor see every jiggle of his soft tummy as he eagerly gesticulates…

somehow I think it'd be even cuter if CRT-chan didn't know what his appearance does to Alastor and him wearing shirts that don't fit anymore is because he's massively in denial about what Alastor's cooking does to his waistline...he's still stuck in the mindset of larger body = undesirable, so it would never occur to him that Alastor finds him irresistable with more meat on his bones (and because the two can never be truly honest with their feelings, it leads to many a misunderstanding;;)

The fun thing about Alastor wanting a lot of kids is how badly he's shooting himself in the foot. Like yeah Vox is pissed Al doesn't spend much time with the kids but that's secondary to the big change which is that Vox doesn't need Alastor anymore.

Vox's kids love him, are affectionate with him and accept his doting with no hoops to jump through on either side. Nothing would make Vox go from begging Alastor to stay to telling him not to let the door hit him on the way out faster than a gaggle of kids.

the tamagotchis always swarm Vox and bask in his love and attention, but around Alastor they are sort of wary and shy...maybe it's the push Alastor needs to finally come clean with his feelings for Vox...

It's all fun and sillies for Alastor until he, being from the 1930s south, gives one of the tamagotchi's a smack for being "naughty"

The next thing he remembers is a very bright light and searing pain before he wakes up on the sidewalk outside his house recovering from getting electrocuted to death. He did not know Vox could do that and he's not sure if it's completely unacceptable or heartstoppingly(ha-ha) attractive.

Vox going full on mama bear on Alastor is so fun omg that's what he deserves for making Vox go through pregnancy so many times

I picture Alastor as a not very dedicated parent (deadbeat dad) and yet he is very oldfashioned and insisting on having many kids, because it's surprisingly entertaining to get Vox pregnant (Vox to me seems like a dedicated mom to his tamagotchis)

And now that makes me think of the one piece you did where Val offers to work out with Vox and another one where Vox gets stuck in a diner booth.

Like, maybe the body worship goes up even more after Vox works out because the sweat is making his clothes cling to his rolls and skin and even more… 👀 (I bet Val would tease Vox and say Vox tastes salty)

OOO I need a fic of it...Val and Vox's gym adventures gone sexual...with copious amounts of body worship that leads to zero calories burned on the treadmill (unless you count the physical workout between them)

I was thinking about that drawing you had of Val wrapping a hand around Vox’s waist compared to needing four after Vox gains weight. I can’t help but imagine Vox being embarrassed and thus act mad about it. But Val, maybe knowing it’s just because Vox is insecure or something about it, takes the time to go over every part of Vox’s new body he likes and like, maps it out with his claws and just compliments every part of Vox.

Idk. I just like the idea of Val doing body worship over Vox’s more plushy body.

body worship is so, SO good and Val literally has 4 hands just to do all that! I want Val to gush about every single new dip and crease and fold and stretch mark, and lick and kiss them all, and Vox squirms and tells him to stop, this is so fucking embarrassing, but Val doesn't stop, he only gets even more handsy once he sees how much this works on Vox's ego
