Devout pushed open the security door with his shoulder, holding two bottles in one hand and his backpack slipping off his shoulder a bit. “Knock knock.”

Crimson's head jolts up, looking at the sudden commotion. And there he is, Devout Grey, in all their tipsy glory.

"Oh- come in." Crim says, standing up from his makeshift bed quickly to help Dev out, reaching over for the two bottles with his hands, softly taking them into his own.

"Youre- uh- back..pack-" He points out, noting immediately how its slipping. "Just- come in, get comfortable."

Crim closes the security door behind Dev easily with his shoulder, the soft light of the monitors shrowering them in a light, blue shine.

Devout sighed, finding the button on the edge of his helmet and taking it off. His forehead was slight sweaty, his hair sticking to it. He ran his hand through his bangs push them back.

Crimson returns a small smirk of his own, his gaze going over Dev's face multiple times.

Crim scoffs, "Of course youre flattered.." He says, lightly chuckling, "And, uh, thanks... i guess.." It takes EVERY fiber in his being not to blush right now.

He sets the bottles down nearby, hovering nearby (leaning on a shelf.) just incase.

"Soo..."

"Were you actually drunk earlier? How did that happen.." He asks, trying to start small talk.

Devout hummed, “I was, yes.” He sat down on the bed, “why would I fake being drunk? Seems like more of a you thing to do.” He dug around in his bag for his pipe and a lighter. “I try not to drink booze much, I usually drink wine for rituals and stuff to loosen up a bit.” He shrugged, “but things happen.”

Crimson reaches next to himself (is that a real english sentence) for the first bottle, crims logic? 'If he smokes, I drink.'

Crim suddenly looked at Dev, his head snapping at the comment, a playful scoff leaving his mouth, "Uh! I dont drink in the first place!" He half lies.. "Besides, what is THAT supposed to mean?!"

Crim laughs it off, quickly twisting the bottles cap off and bringing the bottle straight to his lips, "Must be nice to have an excuse for getting drunk." He smiles over the rim of the bottle, before finally taking a swig.

Devout chuckled, lighting his pipe and taking a slow drag. He held it for a moment, before blowing it away from Crim.

“I don’t get drunk, usually. Only tipsy,” he leaned back on one of his palms, kicking his feet a bit. He coughed a little into his fist.

“Why are you drinking now, huh? You said you don’t usually drink,” Devout took another puff of smoke, “why am I your exception, hmm?”

Crimson had to take another sip of his drink to think of an answer, briefly looking away.

"Well.. uh.." He murmured, "..You know whats been happening recently. Might aswell... Take the edge off with an amongi."

Crim lightly smiles, "And hey, Im protecting you.. in a way."

'Also getting you away from that hype banana guy.'

"And, for the record, haven't drank in a loooong time."

His eyes glaze over Dev's face.. and body.. more than he'd admit. He looks almost.. comfortable, and it warms his heart in a way. And hey, he even blew the smoke away from him.

Crim takes another swig, not feeling the buzz fast enough.

"Is uh.. Pink still on that whole 'nicotine free' spiel?" He asks, "If I was you, id blow smoke directly in their face." Noting Dev's pipe.

“I am quite pleased I am your amongi of choosing for this,” he gestured with his hand holding the pipe, “act of taking the edge off of this hell.”

He went quiet for a bit, just.. existing for a moment in Crim’s presence. This, admittedly, was quite nice. He didn’t often get to sit like this with another bean. And… Crim’s company was… more enjoyable than Devout would like to admit.

He held out his pipe as an offering, tilting his head.

As Devout holds out his pipe, Crim doesnt even register that its for him for a second. Before the realization hits, and his eyes slightly widen.

"Wait- seriously?" He rhetorically asks, "I dont even know how to smoke this thing.."

Crim carefully takes the pipe between his fingers with reverence. He looks at the pipe as if its gonna bite him, examining every inch.

"Hey," He quips, stretching out his arm to put the bottle in Devs reach, "Switch?" He lightly smirks.

"Oh- come in." Crim says, standing up from his makeshift bed quickly to help Dev out, reaching over for the two bottles with his hands, softly taking them into his own.

"Youre- uh- back..pack-" He points out, noting immediately how its slipping. "Just- come in, get comfortable."

Crim closes the security door behind Dev easily with his shoulder, the soft light of the monitors shrowering them in a light, blue shine.
