They can’t exactly kiss each other with their masks on, can they? That’s what I was hoping for; these two did start out hating each other, and the rest of the Trivia team knows that, but when they developed feelings for each other, they were worried about what everyone would think of them. Even now, they still pretend to hate each other in front of others; they can’t be intimate when they’re hiding their real faces. Maybe a better title would be The Awkward Hug? haha
Anyway, this was just something experimental and comforting to help me process the craziness of July 😵💫 this month has been really rough (burnout, depression, and TONS of working), but undeniably it came with lots of good (ArtFight, trips, trying new games). I’m grateful that July will be over but I’m also grateful that July had happened
I really wanted to lock in and make a Legends of Trivia OC for Artfight, and I had this design idea in my head for months
This is Rhoda, artificer and disciple of the Riddle Raven!
I’ve also always wanted to make OC x canon but was too nervous, so now I’m doing it scared

Rhoda is a potion-making artificer venturing through the land of Trivia. She is a disciple of the Riddle Raven, who taught her magic, strengthened her wit, and travelled with her to find new ingredients for her potions.
Rhoda is constantly curious and passionate about potion-making, using them mainly to attack enemies and heal her allies. However, she had been a bit too curious and rather naive when she first started; some of her potions would cause burns, and one even turned some of her hair grey. Feeling hopeless and embarrassed of her new marks, she went to the Riddle Raven for answers. After the Raven was able to restore her confidence and teach her how to control her potions, she dons a plague doctor outfit, both as tribute to them (the Raven) and to protect her face. Still, she slips up and makes small mistakes.
She gets along with the Trivia Team very well; she considers Hektor and Olga to be two of her best friends. The first member she met, however, was Bingo, who had stolen some precious stones that she intended to experiment with and was, unusually, caught in the act. They each try to outdo one another in cunning, and in doing so, they see right through each other. Rhoda knows he’s a thief under his foolish disguise. Bingo knows she’s not as calculated as she seems on the surface. But they still find ways to surprise one another. They both admire each other, in terms of inner and outer beauty, underneath their masks.
They consider each other “rivals” but yeah…don’t listen to them, that’s just a mask as well.
