Youāve said before that in your actor au, Jaxās real name is āJackson Felixā and EJās is āEvans Jamesā. Given that you said their last name was undecided (at least at the time, dunno if thats changed since), I assume that āFelixā and āJamesā are their middle names. I thought that these were pretty interesting, so Iāve got some questions about their names if you donāt mind me asking!
1. Is there a lore reason why EJ goes by his first and middle names abbreviated together? (or why Jax doesnāt, whichever is more applicable)
2. While itās pretty easy to see where Jaxās name came from (Jax -> Jackson, Felix being the most popular theory for his real name), why did you choose āEvansā and āJamesā to be what EJ stands for?
3. Why did you choose āEvansā instead of āEvanā? āEvansā is mostly used as a surname while āEvanā is the opposite, so Iām curious about the reasoning.
Unrelated bonus question: is there a lore reason for whats up with non-human people like the bunnies or Zooble? Is this any undertake-esc thing where theres an in-world distinction of āHumanā and āNot Humanā? (A better way to put it might be asking if āHumanā is a category with any distinct/unique āsocial weightā (for lack of a better term))
Building on that but probably way less likely to be something youāve thought about because why would you (unless you like to think about really random or niche worldbuilding questions like me), how would the previous stuff affect the (in the real show) humanās dissonance between their real bodies and the circus avatars would work in the shoe in the au, given that the actors real bodies are the circus avatars. What other ways would the worldbuilding for the au affect how the show would differ from the actual show.

Yeah.... I still haven't thought of a last name for them, that's still in limbo >>;
1. EJ's just a nickname that sounded cute and there was probably another kid named Evan in his class. So to distinguish them they just went with a nickname.
2-3. So there is a reason I chose Evans and James as EJ's actual name... I went with some of my favorite anime character names š
Soul Eater "Evans" and James from Pokemon (I feel if EJ tried to be evil he'd be James level evil, which is.... not very evil lol) While Evans is usually a surname I used it as a first name.
As for the bonus question: In this setting There are humans and non-human/sapient characters (similar to Who framed Roger Rabbit and Tonari no Yokai-san/ The Yokai Next to Me which I recommend watching it cause its pretty fun.) There are Toonfolk, Toykin, and Thirens (I covered it better in this post.)
