Something a bit different
Another quick one, this was an interesting experiment in using a limited colour palette. I used burnt umber, ultramarine, titanium white, and a touch of yellow ochre.
Windmill by the water
Didn't have much time this week so I worked on this one because I knew it wouldn't take long
First try at painting the northern lights! Prints linked in my profile :)
This might be my favourite thing I've ever painted! Prints linked in my profile :)
This one took forever and I'm still not sure if I like it
Had a hard time with this one, I bought a different brand of burnt umber and it turned out to be useless. Kind of got there in the end though after applying multiple layers.

Another moody Scottish Highland scene
The quickest painting I've ever done, it took just a couple of hours start to finish. Pretty pleased with it considering.
Based on a photo I took on a day out last year. Really enjoying painting beaches at the moment, think it must be a form of escapism from the winter weather.
