“Excuse me?” Viviana defensively started back, expression pulling out as she looked to the girl, who seemed to be somewhat crazed. “What the hell is that supposed to mean? Worst nightmare, really?” She could smell the vampire reek off of the other and quickly added, “One bite from me and you’re dead.” The punch to the gut knocked the wind out of her as she kneeled over, but not without putting up a fight back, trying to knock the other to the ground.

Betha rolled her eyes. “Hmmm. Why can’t you just be a good little dog?” She cursed as she punched Viv harshly across her face to knock her out. She growled and made sure the girl was unconscious before dragging her to the basement and tying her up. SHe waited for the other to wake up  in the wolfsbane soaked ropes.

Betha smiled and looked at him. “It has a very beautiful countrysides. Though  there are very many myths.” She chuckled and ordered two ales. “So whats fun to do in this town?”

At the female’s words, Viviana pulled her glance from her drink she was nursing as ehe had kept a weary eye on the people around her, for fear mostly of running into one of her parents. Still, she was glad it was just some stranger before her. “He’s not boring. A bit too organized for my taste, but it’s healthy.” She turned her head slightly to see the woman better. “Uh—yeah. It’s Viv. How do you know who I am?”

Emmett couldn’t turn down a free beer, plus, he could only hope it helped with his anxieties of the party and the crowd, as he had tried to calm himself down with no such luck. “You’re from Ireland?” He asked before adding, “I’m…not really one to choose. She drank her drink and danced with one of the males that were infatuated with her. She chuckled as she kept an eye out for Benjamin and Viv. She had a little fun planned for her exes new plaything. She couldn’t wait to act on it but she kept eenjoying the party for now before she ran out of her drink. She left the dancing to go get herself another drink. Emmett’s glance pulled up from his phone, something he kept refreshing over and over to keep looking busy, despite the utter and dismal truth to the socialization. While at the bar, he didn’t have a drink in his hand but at the young woman’s words, he merely offered her a simple shrug. “I hear the champagne and cabernet is getting good reviews, but I’m more of a beer guy myself. Betha gave a shiny toothed grin as she noticed it was Ben. She chuckled and leaned in a bit. Benjamin Montgomery. The vampire that stole her heart and ran off with it. She looked him up and down. “Well well well if it isn’t the man I was looking for? Benjamin Montgomery.” She said trailing a finger down his shoulder. “I’m here looking for the man that told me to wait for him and never came back.” She said as she leaned in close and was pretty much touching him. “Didn’t you miss me Ben?” She smiled and bit her lip as she hooked a finger under his chin and made it so his eyes met hers. She pursed her lips and hummed. “Cause I missed you so much. My sweet little Benny.”

“You could have found me a long time ago.” Ben had only left to visit his brother all that time ago, promising to come back to find her gone too. He was enjoying the party, talking to people who he hadn’t seen in awhile. To no one’s fault but his own for dealing with his brother, the situation handled now. Betha smiled as she strut into the potluck. Hawthorne was a quaint little town that she enjoyed. Her blonde hair danced lightly on her shoulders and bounced with each step she took into the building. She recognized some faces but didn’t know any names. She grabbed her self a drink and scanned the room for a conversation of her old flame. She ran a hand through her hair before she turned to the nearest person. “I’m Betha. What’s your name?”

Marcela Carmen had made the decision to get herself a drink, it seemed the only reasonable thing to do at this event.
