Teen Titans GO! First trailer
When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “Teen Titans GO! to the Movies” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the superhero genre, complete with musical numbers. Check out the first official teaser trailer below.
Will Arnett (“The LEGO® Batman Movie”) and Kristen Bell (“Frozen”) lend their voices to the first-ever big-screen version of DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network’s animated TV show, which also stars Greg Cipes (TV’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV’s “Spider-Man”) as Robin, Khary Payton (“The Walking Dead”) as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the “My Little Pony” franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV’s “Adventure Time with Finn & Jake”) as Starfire, reprising their roles from the series.
The film is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are “Teen Titans GO!” series contributors.
TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES is released August 3, 2018.

Bake With a Legend
The Great British Bake Off final is slowly coming to an end *sob* with tonight being the last final to air on the BBC - but no fear there are other ways to get involved with Great british bake off, which arguably are possibly even more fun! We were invited to Bake with a Legend with series 4 contestants Glenn and Howard (whilst they might not have won they were fan faves and after our time with them some of our faves from all the series’ too!)
Bake with a legend see’s you spend time with said baking legends whipping up one of their best recipes. We were making chocolate eclairs with praline brittle. They start by showing you how to do it and then you’re sent off, individually or pairs, to recreate the recipie - truly feeling like you’re entering your own techincal challenge.
We’d never made eclairs so were a little bit dubious and intimated but both Glenn and Howard made time to come round, offer advice and give anecdotes from their time on the series.
Somehow we ended up winning! And got to trade in our standard black aprons for some winning red ones.
If you’re a fan of great british bake off or just baking in generally this is a great event to book out, you can hire them for weddings or birthdays and probably some other ideas you can come up with too!

Doctor Strange Review
By Tara Bonar
Doctor Strange was always going to be the trickiest of Marvel heroes to work on the big screen. He sounds like an 80’s synth-pop star. He is in fact one of the most interesting tricks that Marvel has had up its sleeve. They’ve been biding their time to unleash him in cinematic form.
Doctor Stephen Strange is a brilliant neurosurgeon who is the very best in his field. He is the man for the most impossible of injuries. No task is too difficult for him. But what happens when he has a horrific accident (a stomach churning car crash that feels never ending) that robs him of his ability to hold a pen never mind a scalpel? Who is there to do what only he can? With the medical world failing him he heads to Nepal after a chance encounter with a man who he had rejected as a patient years ago. Strange is a broken man, a millionaire now without a cent to his name and a wild and unruly beard. Will he find his answers at this mystical enclave and return to his high-rise New York apartment and industry dinners?
Strange finds himself at the mercy of The Ancient Once (played by the hypnotic Tilda Swinton) who sees a danger in Strange at first that stops her wanting to teach him the mystic arts. She has been burned by Mads Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius, her former student who has committed a heinous crime in order to pursue his own unethical path.
It is Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo that sees more to Strange than his superior ego and self-interest. He sees a man at rock bottom that can be born again.
Treated to a Rocky IV like training sequence we see Strange learning the arts and intricacies of magical spells and mystical wonders. This goes beyond the answer to fixing his hands and becomes his new calling. Strange is thrust into a battle between good and evil with astral projection thrown in for good balance. In a neat scene Strange finds himself back in his old work place in a New York hospital having a very different kind of fight than we’ve ever seen in a Marvel film before.
Cumberbatch succeeds on all levels with bringing Strange to screen. The David Niven of our times. He has the humour (with the exception of a few very out dated jokes), the intelligence and the likeability for a character many will be learning of for the first time. He also might have the best sidekick in a Marvel film with The Cloak of Levitation. I hope we’ll be able to buy one of these...
Marvel continues it’s almost faultless journey in securing the talents of unusual directors. Scott Derrickson might be their most bold choice yet. Derrickson has made a number of horror films in his career (including a Hellraiser film!) and you can see why a director with such a creepy vision can work in a world of dark magic, broken bodies and astral planes. The special effects aren’t just exceptional for Marvel; they’re truly something special in film in general. Think of the first big SFX film you saw where you sat open mouthed and wanting to touch the screen. Star Wars? Jurassic Park? Stargate? The Matrix? Inception? Put them all together and you have the wonders of Doctor Strange. Just imagine being on Disney’s Space Mountain ride while listening to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Throw in the cinematic wonderpiece that is IMAX and you have that added element that will throw you deep and further into Doctor Strange’s world
You can praise the casting in the film, but Marvel just never put a foot wrong there. Tilda Swinton and Chitwel Ejofor are sublime additions and the British trio do wonders to ease the audience into something very unique for a comic book film.
Mads Mikkelsen missed out on playing Malekith the Accursed in Thor 2 because of his taste for human flesh as Hannibal. Lucky break for him and us as his performance as Kaecilius is seductively intense. Kaecillius isn’t a straight forward villain, but a swift and fierce warrior with a disheartened view on the world.
Doctor Strange is a mind-blowing and engaging excursion and a very classy affair.

Busted to release new album titled ‘Night Driver’ on 11th November
It’s been twelve long years without Busted after their shock split in 2004.
Just three years ago there was an exciting semi-reunion when Matt and James joined forces with McFly to form McBusted, a projecthat included an arena tour, a series of summer events and an album that both McFly and Busted fans adored, with that brought a renewed love for both bands both together and apart.
A full-on reunion WITH Charlie was a pipe dream, many fans or even Matt and James thought they’d get to experience, a 3rd Busted album featuring Matt, Charlie AND James was even more of an unrealistic possibility.
Earlier in the year the newly reformed Busted hit the road on a sell-out UK tour titled ‘Pigs can Fly’, the tour spanned 18 shows and featured many old favorites as well as three brand new songs that all feature on the brand new album.
But today we can reveal that on 11th November fans of the trio can head to iTunes or to their local music supplier and purchase ‘Night Driver’.
The long awaited album will feature 12 tracks including:
1. Coming Home 2. Night Driver 3. On what You’re on 4. New York 5. Thinking of You 6. Without it 7. One of a Kind 8. I Will Break Your Heart 9. Kids with Computers 10. Easy 11. Out of our Mind 12. Those days are Gone
Those that attended the earlier 2016 UK tour or the shows will be familiar with some of these songs as they were performed whilst on tour.
The album is available to pre-order on Amazon and iTunes now.
With news breaking earlier in the week of an earlier release date for Marvel’s Doctor Strange there was no surprise to see a brand new poster hit our inbox this afternoon and here it is in all its glory.
Doctor Strange is released in UK cinemas Tuesday 25th October.

REVIEW: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Having very little knowledge of The Lord of The Ring's trilogy and Tolkien's work, I was a little unsure as to whether The Hobbit would be for me but my reservations were quickly forgotten as within the first minute I was captivated by `The Shire'. The adventure follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins, 60 years prior to the events of The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. Bilbo is swept into an quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom from Smaug, a fire breathing dragon. Approached by the wizard Gandalf, Bilbo finds himself joining a group of thirteen dwarves. Their journey takes them into the Wild; through treacherous lands filled with Goblins and Orcs and deadly Wargs. After a series of ambushes Bilbo finds himself in a cave with Gollum, Whilst there he finds a Gold ring and takes it, but the ring isn't just a ring. This simple looking gold ring is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo can't even imagine. Nine years after the release of the last of Lord of The Rings trilogy Gandalf and friends (old and new) are back in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, directed by Peter Jackson the film is 2 hours and 49 minutes of intense action and laughs. Whilst it seems impossible for such a small book to be split in to separate films, the first installment has been executed beautifully (with the help of Tolkien's other works) and the HFR 3D is a must see if possible.

BRIDGET JONES BABY - WORLD PREMIERE
MONDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2016, LONDON.
FEATURE: Top 5 Spy Films
The theme of espionage has been a recurring theme in cinema for some years. The illusive nature of espionage and the mystery that shrouds the occupation of the spy makes for gripping plot lines. The sub-genre can be traced all the way back to the beginning of the 20th century, with the film The German Spy Peril that was influenced from the onset of the Great War causing invasion literature to spawn, ultimately leading to its transition into film. Some seventy years later, and the genre is still a firm favourite, with the release of the new film Our Kind of Traitor, which is being released on the 12th of September. To celebrate this new spy-thriller, we have compiled a list of some of the greatest spy films of all time.
The Bourne Identity (2002)
To kick of our list, we begin with The Bourne Identity, the first film in a series that now includes four sequels. The film follows the turbulent journey of a man attempting to gain information about his life, after being found with two gunshot wounds to his back, the numbers of a safe deposit box in Zurich and no recollection of his identity. If the allusive nature of espionage wasn’t already enough of a thrill, The Bourne Identity adds onto that, by also shrouding mystery around the identity of the main character. The film also reduces the stereotype of the government spy being a clear-cut ‘goody’ character, when we find out that he is being hunted by people supposedly on his side, CIA assassins. The film cleverly subverts the genre in this way; instead of just exciting and entertaining its audience like many action films it is full of intelligent plot twists and full bodied characters.
The Lady Vanishes
The Lady Vanishes is the oldest movie featured on our list, being released in 1938, over seventy five years ago. The film’s age highlights the genres unshakeable ability to sustain its popularity. The 1930s was arguably the best decade for spy films, being dubbed by The Guardian as ‘the genre’s golden era’, with this film being one of the high points. The out of the ordinary plotline is executed beautifully, under the direction of the legendary Alfred Hitchcock. The film is arguably one of his best, being paced in a way that allows the tension to flourish spectacularly. Hitchcock also includes his own brand of wit, creating what can only be described as a comedy-thriller. The film masterfully harnesses dark humour in a way that doesn’t draw away from the drama and make it light-hearted. The added bonus is that the hero in this film is a strong, independent female; shaking up the typical, alpha-male characters that have saturated the genre.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Skipping forward three quarters of a century, and we’ve come to our next movie, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. This film caused a real stir a few years ago, taking a very different spin on the classic spy film. Instead, we follow George Smiley, who comes out of retirement in order to investigate claims that a mole has infiltrated British Intelligence, or the ‘Circus’. The film explores the more realistic aspects of being involved in high-profile espionage. Instead of being proliferated with extravagant cars and high tech gadgets, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy peels away all illusion of glamour associated with working as a spy. We are instead shown a handful of incredibly lonely and desperate lives of men that are forever sworn to secrecy. Similar to The Lady Vanishes, the film utilises a different type of protagonist than the likes of other popular espionage films that champion ostentatious young men, like James Bond, taking a fresh perspective on the genre of espionage.
James Bond – Dr No
It is impossible to not include at least one James Bond film on this list. The James Bond franchise is the most popular series of espionage films of all time, with Dr No being the first film in the series of 23 films. The smooth and suave spy is universally recognisable, known for his tailored suit, plush Aston Martin and iconic drink order; a martini ‘shaken, not stirred’. Dr No is much more tongue and cheek than films like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Its purpose is to entertain, which it delivers in the bucket load. Dr No glamorises the life of a Spy, glorifying Bond as a hero who saves the day. Dr No is the perfect example of an escapist movie, portraying a man who seems to have it all.
Our Kind of Traitor
Our Kind of Traitor transforms the theme of espionage once again. Whilst on holiday, an unsuspecting couple accidentally get caught up with the Russian Mafia after meeting one of their servants. The man asks them to try and get him refuge with British Intelligence in exchange for him exposing a branch of corruption that runs right through the core of London. The movie moves away from exploring the lives of spies and those who are deeply involved with espionage, and instead focuses on the experiences of a regular couple who get caught up with two dark and mysterious organisations. Due to the relatable nature of the two main characters, the tension created throughout the film is even greater, as you have as much information as the protagonists. Grippingly gritty, this film will have you hooked from the start, taking you on roller coaster of twists and turns, where you won’t know your ally from your enemy.
OUR KIND OF TRAITOR is released on EST from 5th September 2016 and on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on 12th September 2016.
