Hello! Dont worry bettas can get better from swim bladder disease c: rather than feeding them shelled peas (it can also cause constipation), I'd recommend getting tank heaters for them and aquarium salt.

When your fishies are sick, its a good idea to do daily water changes with the prescribed dosage of aquarium salt until they get better.

Are they eating when you feed them?

Hi I saw that you had recommended a blog where it would be ideal to ask questions about betta care, but the URL you linked isn't working anymore. If you still aren't comfortable answering questions about bettas yourselves, do you happen to know a new URL or someone else I could ask?

I can answer some questions but when it comes down to it, I am not much of a betta fish expert. I adore them, and I will help as much as I can but alas!

Meet Precious, my newest baby. I am venturing back into bettas, but this boy is gonna be my only one for quite a while. I've also got two chinchillas now, and my roommates are looking at adopting a kitten! 

This lil' boy is a dragonscale plakat, who generally looks like a very pale, silvery blue, with a bit of mustard in his fins. But when the light hits him, just wow! He's super iridescent, and he shines from like aquamarine to sky blue, its really sweet. He's pretty young so I wouldn't be surprised if his coloring changed, but he was so healthy and happy looking, and his colors were wow, I couldn't resist hehe.
