Im having marimos for the first time!

As a minu plant enthusiast finding about these little guys years ago was an absolute delight and a big joy knowing I could get my hands on some hehe

I ordered 6 baby marimos and they arrived in the mail yesterday!!!

Plopped them all in the fridge first thing since yk it's hot and also to rest up because of the shipping stress

Today I take them out of the fridge and somehow one of them has a little bubble :0

How did it photosynthesise *in my fridge*???

So anyways... To the little guys!

(yes if you're wondering they're in a pudding jar, at least for now)

Another one just made a bubble. Another one. It's midnight, and I don't have a UV lamp-

Any care tips for marimos when you live in a tropical climate? Or just care tips for marimos in general? :p

In my dream last night I was in a fancy grocery store right before closing and I came across a gum ball machine except it didn’t have gum balls in it. It had marimo moss balls. It wasn’t full like it would be with gum balls- it had gravel and a mini stone arch tank decoration and the water was crystal clear. I reverently turned the coin crank (I didn’t have a coin) and i got 3 mini moss balls and a handful of water.
