i play as psychologist so i tried to make a hard mode characyer
a recent thing i’ve figured out about anomalies is that they somehow have a sense of humor. yesterday as i was asking one questions, they kept trying to stab me with needles and called it ‘beta testing’. though it hurts - still does - i have to say it was pretty funny.
Were the needles clean? That's a safety hazard, no laughing matter ms river, you could have gotten hurt or worse, infected. I hope you had the proper equipment to deal with a anomaly, gloves and a mask at the least.
i’m not entirely sure about the needles being clean since i haven’t been here long enough to know where they came from, but i should be okay! most of the time when i do this i wear two pairs of gloves instead of one just in case. also, i only do it with anomalies i’m sure won’t lash out… which isn’t a lot, actually.

When battany entered the hospital, sheprah was already there waiting, she was a tall woman who smelled like smoke and hand sanitizer, with a resting face that made it look like she was passed off all the time. Sheprah walked over to battany, looked her up and down, then said.
" sit. "
She gestured towards the hospital bed.
- bettany glances around the room, noticing that it’s pretty obviously anomalies had been in this hospital before. there was literally a bullet hole in the wall where some dumbass secret agent missed a shot -
“geez, if so much chaos happens here, i should come by more… gotta tell Duckman about these rooms sometime.”
- after saying this, she sits down -
" the lack of professionalism here is shocking, I would appreciate some base line standards.. "
Sheprah sighed, before putting some gloves on, getting some medical ointment, And a bandage.
" let me see where they were poking you.. "
it’s only a few pokes on my shoulder…
- bettany turns to face away from sheprah, so now the very small pokes are visible on her shoulder -
just don’t break my arm or anything - if you do i’ll tell the cops!
- she laughs after saying this. ooc she’s making a joke since she knows officer duckman lololol she’s not gonna call the police -
" do you think I'm unqualified to do my job? "
Sheprah asked, tilting her head to the side
no, no - i was joking! since officer duckman is a cop? and i would tell him… get it? do you even know who duckman is?
- she’s holding back a laugh still, unsure of whether she should be scared or not -

Sheprah responded, the woman was quiet..... Dry, and seemingly cold, but would someone so cold worry so much? It almost made battany wonder
