Super busy week! I’ll be on tomorrow to do things.
Harley gave him a weak, thankful smile when he moved aside to let her in. She stood in the foyer, her arms wrapped around herself, waiting for the dry clothes. She looked around, still being really familiar with his place. “I really am sorry. I would have gone to someone else but I really don’t have anyone in this part of town…” Harley trailed off.
Andy closed the door once she walked in and headed off down the hall. He returned shortly after with a towel and some clothes - one of his shirts and a pair of sweats. She had cleaned out her drawer when she left, so all he had to offer was his clothing. He handed them to her. “well, I’m glad to know you can count on me as a last resort,” he commented with a quiet sigh. “Why don’t you go get dried off. I’ll get you something warm to drink.”
Nodding, she walked inside and sat on his couch. Once he returned she smiled softly at him “Thank you Andy.” She said, biting her lip gently as she glanced up at him “I know it was ridiculous for me to come to you of all people but you’re the only one I could rely on. I really appreciate you letting me stay.”

He pulled a spare blanket from the closet and wrapped it around her shoulders. The fact that she chose to come to him for help made him feel good, but he was also still confused. “Yeah, no problem. I can’t exactly leave you out on the street,” he joked lightly, taking a seat on the other end of the couch. “What exactly happened?”
Spending more time in the States meant that she had to rely on herself to make ends meet, even if her flat mate in London made sure to help with the plan that she wouldn’t find out. Krysanna had used the connections her friend had offered to secure a job and an apartment, but spending her days in an office building still didn’t feel right, even if she might have felt a connection with one of her coworkers. It things hadn’t gone just a little too far at one of the office parties, then maybe finding herself alone in the elevator wouldn’t have caused the hint of discomfort.
“I guess I am,” she said with a small smile. The trip back to London had been trying, but even with the debates she’d faced, Krys had made it a point to insist on her return. If nothing else, she wanted to give her job one more chance before looking for something she might enjoy more. His words brought their own surprise, and she finally looked over at him, her gaze questioning. “It’s good to see you, too.”
As much as she wanted to bring up the time they’d spent together before her so-called vacation, she couldn’t tell if he was willing to discuss it just yet. Instead, she cleared her throat, deciding on a safer topic.
“How have things been around here?”
Andy thought she’d been gone for good, really. The vacation was last minute, and so soon after their incident at the party, it led him to believe that he had done something. That maybe he had driven her away. Being the son of the head of the firm, Andreas always got what he wanted. He wasn’t accustomed to people turning him down or not liking what he had to offer. She was different, though. Normally he’d push on and forget all about her, but he couldn’t. No matter how hard he tried.
It took him a few brief moments to respond. “Things have been good,” he responded, finally cracking a smile. “We’ve got some new clients since you left. It’s been rather interesting sorting through evidence.”
The elevator reached their floor and the doors opened. Andy stepped out into the lobby and turned to look at her. “Can I walk you to your desk?”
Working on drafts and watching some teen wolf. Anyone want to plot?

Her cheeks flushed a bit at his sweet words before she was peeking up at him. In all honesty, she wasn’t too sure what that final pushing factor had been…had it been her desire that finally caved, or the few drinks she had that gave her the extra courage…? “I’m not too sure,” she admitted shyly, as if she hadn’t just done what she had, “I just…it felt like I had to do it, you know? I mean, it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for, like, a super long time and I just…I just finally had to. I didn’t want to wait any longer.”
He caught her flush and an amused grin slipped across his lips. “You have, huh?” He asked, raising a brow. Makayla had always been one of those girls that he sought after but could never find the right time to do anything about it. He was lucky she took the initiative. “Define Super.” His hands trailed up from her hips slowly, one stopping at her shoulder and the other continuing up to trace her jaw. “Regardless, I’m glad you decided not to wait. Now, what are the chances I could get another one of those kisses?”
Sarah bit back a smile, nodding along to what he was saying. “Ah, yes, okay, we’re going to blame this on the dog, alright,” she teased, rolling her eyes. “Glad to know you tried to save it.”
“No, I swear that’s what happened,” Andy replied, nodding his head. “Something spooked him and next thing I know he was running into the table.”
“You’re not going to beat someone up, I mean jesus christ. You aren’t the hulk or anything.” She spoke softly, “It’s fine don’t worry about it…”
“I could beat someone up if I tried hard enough,” Andy replied, amused. “All I need is a baseball bat and the element of surprise.” He reached over and palced his hand on her back. “I’m going to worry about it. What happened?”
“As your personal nurse, I would like to strongly recommend that you do not do that.”
“Hold the door,” Andreas called out as he jogged over to the elevator, managing to hop in at the last second. He took a deep breath before reaching out to hit the button for his floor, only to find it already illuminated. He glanced over and did a double take, not expecting to see the other standing there. “You’re back,” he said with surprise in his tone, a small smile threatening to grace his lips. They had been on ‘vacation’ for a few weeks and no matter how hard he may have tried, Andy wasn’t able to make any form of contact. “It’s good to see you.”
Crystal stood in his doorway, shivering slightly in the cold as she looked up at him. “I know but I don’t have anywhere else to go.” She replied “P-please I got kicked out and you were the only person I could go to.”

Andy didn’t usually hold grudges. In fact, he was one of the more forgiving people he knew, but this was mildly irritating to him. She didn’t want to see him again, yet here she was, requiring his help when she was in a bind. What irritated him more than that, though, was the pang he felt in his chest. He was almost happy that she chose to came to him. With a sigh he just nodded his head and ushered her in, closing the door behind him. “This is a one time thing, Crystal. Go sit and I’ll get you a blanket.”
It was raining and the poor girl was soaked to her skin, her hair was stuck to her face and she was shivering quite a lot. She had been kicked out of her family home and she had nowhere else to go. She didn’t have anyone else on this part of town. “..I know but I’ve been kicked out. I don’t have anywhere to go. I am really sorry.”
He sighed, contemplating what to do. He couldn’t very well leave her out in the rain, could he? Part of him wanted to, but what annoyed him at that moment was that a larger part of him wanted to help her. Thunder rumbled in the distance, prodding him to make a decision and make it quick. He stepped aside begrudgingly, allowing her entry. “I’ll go get you some dry clothes.”
The idea of an afternoon picnic was quite wonderful, though Weston had spent the majority of their afternoon together worrying about whether or not someone would spot them and clue his wife in on the whole thing. Leaning back on his hands and stretching his legs out in front of him, he turned to look at the other, a small smile forming on his lips. “You do have some of the best ideas, dear. It’s a beautiful afternoon to be outside.”
“What are you doing here?” Andy asked, standing in the doorway of his apartment. It had been months since he had seen the other, and he wasn’t exactly too pleased that they were standing there. “I seem to recall you breaking up with me,” He crossed his arms over his chest, “and something about never wanting to see me again. Excuse me for being a little confused.”

“See, the thing is,” Andy began, pausing and looking up to attempt to find the right words. “I didn’t break it,” he went on. “The dog bumped the table and I was actually trying to save it.”
Honestly this is me tho😂
