I choose you over everyone.
Rainbow Rowell, Fangirl (via books-n-quotes)
The ninety-nine weeks of nudging were what had truly done the job, but the hundredth was the one around to take the credit. We almost always can point to that hundredth blow, but we don't always mark the ninety-nine other things that happen before we change.
pg.195 All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
...as the stars moved slowly overhead an the mountains told stories to themselves.

Pete fell deeply in love with it. This strange cold desert does not car if you live or die in it, but he fell for it anyways. He had not known before then that a place could feel so raw and so close to the surface. His weak heart felt the danger but could not resist. He fell so fiercely in love that the desert itself noticed.
pg.21 All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
"Small steps, Joaquin," Daniel advised. "Even a small voice s still a voice."
pg.9 All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
When you cultivate invisible seeds, you can't expect everyone to agree on the shape of your invisible crops. It is wiser to simply acknowledge that they grow well together

All the crooked saints
This book is magical. Maggie Stiefvater is one of my favourite authors, she writes in a way that makes it impossible to put the book down. All the crooked saints is a novel about love. Love between strangers, family, lovers, aunties, uncles, and coincidental friends. The novel explores the idea of overcoming your inner darkness, Stiefvater characterizes darkness in a unique and interesting way. The story explores how different characters overcome their darkness, and become a community.
Some of my favourite quotes from the novel can be found on my blog :)
"What do we do when everything we've wanted falls out of reach?" A frown crosses his face and he lifts his hands to cup my cheeks. "That's not true," he whispers. "I want you, and you are right here."
Salt & storm by Kendall Kulper pg. 330
There's an ocean inside us all, and I put my hand to his chest and felt the current there, closed my eyes and held my breath and let myself get lost at sea as he whispered to me. just once, words that all together were an invocation, a reminder, a dare, a prayer, a promise: Never regret, Avery. Never regret.
Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper pg.254
“I’m not going to leave you” he whispered. I shook my head, but I wasn’t strong enough to pull away.“You can’t stop it.” He drew in a ragged breath.“Maybe not. But I’m not ready to say good-bye to you yet.”
Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper pg.204 (via itssydthekid15)
"I missed you" he said, and he squeezed me gently to his chest. He kissed my eyes, my forehead, his breath stirring my hair, and every place his lips touched, I felt a spark on my skin that made me shiver.

Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper
This book is a downright tragedy, and I mean that in a technical way- not in the ‘I-absolutely-despise-this-book’ kind of way. Salt & Storm makes you understand why Juliette stabbed herself after seeing that her true love lay dead. Avery and Tane have a love I will now hold as dear to my heart as Cher & Josh from “Clueless.” After the first few chapters I declared this book predictable, but little did I know how wrong I would end up being. Salt & Storm took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, and I loved every page and every chapter. I owe a big thank you to Kulper, for reminding me that not every story has the happy ending you want, but sometimes you get the ending you need.
