She cuts into her womb with stained glass.
Pulls out my soul and lets it writhe in the grass.
Images of her savior remain in the stars-
Colliding with my thoughts of never-ending death.
A dance between the strongest flames and the coolest wind.
My bones shake along with the leaves falling under the weight
Of drunken rain.
Steam rises off scarred flesh- yet I shiver.
But I don’t pray.
I only beg for silence.
