These two: Part 2
livio & el woowoo
"Whatever Happened to Thou Shalt Not Kill?" Bringin that 80s cyberpunk feel the season ended on! I loved the '98 Trigun but omg the new Trigun Stampede is hitting all the right notes for me!
part 3 is up (ꈍᴗꈍ) wolfwood meeting with eriks, thank you guys for taking an interest really warms my heart! <3
Quotes that fit trigun characters so perfectly that it hurts PT. 3
The Trigun babies surrounded by flowers to feed my Trigun agenda
I'm making these into charms so I can have Trigun merch hehe
I’ve been having a lot of thoughts about Livio lately so I thought I’d do a little analysis!
Starting with his artillery, which have a lot of odd details:
On top of the guns themselves being difficult to use in a defensive position, I think that the double barrel is another mishap waiting to happen. Starting a fight with two full clips and two barrels, one of which is pointed at you, could easily end up resulting in a mistake, should the wrong thing be pushed.
His hand placement on the guns is a difficult one that doesn’t allow for a lot of stability since he isn’t using his armpits to brace them. Though it’s possible that his left eye might serve as a built-in crosshair to better aim the guns.
The mutation for his healing mechanism is something I often think about but have no idea how it would hypothetically work.
Should his body and blood be acidic enough to dissolve metal, it should also be acidic enough to dissolve himself from the inside out, unless there’s a thin coating of mucus everywhere internally, like the inside of a stomach, which doesn’t seem plausible.
If we assume that the steam from his wounds is not from the temperatures outside being cold, there would need to be another reason (which I’m not sure of). Unless, Noman’s land cools quickly in the evening—in which case the steam may be a result of the outdoor temperature coming in contact with the hot wound. This would indicate that his body might be rapidly increasing in heat when he’s healing; it’s possible that this is a defense against infection, similar to how we get fevers when we’re sick.
His facial plate is also interesting:
While it’s possible there might be a neurological connection present (indicated by Livio snapping out of it when the lights on the mask turned off because it was damaged), there’s also the theory that Livio came back to himself because of the shock that comes with getting hit by a bullet in the face—the lights turning off may just be a direct result of that damage and have no correlation.
Bonus little assassin man!
so I’ve been reading/watching Trigun
