« Stay with me. And I'll tell you all the details of what I can do to him without making you suffer punishment for it. He's the one who deserves punishment. not really you.. expect if you don't obey to someone's interest.. »

he put his hand to his chest, supposedly looking at Bev "sincerely".

The way he spoke made her skin crawl, the ends of her hair standing up as she felt a shiver down her spine. Bev's grip on her arms tightened, skin blooming red, but all she could focus on was trying to be cautious.

She couldn't accept what he was saying, that's criminal even if her Dad did deserve it, she wasn’t going to go to this Level.

« I saw him. And I still see him next to you. true. what I see is only fleeting. I can see what you don’t see. and from this one gets the impression from every walking meat.. you are not meat. you are too..clean for being one. »

he still keeps one hand in his pocket, and releases the other from his chest, slowly extending his hand to her, inviting her to take his hand.

Beverly wanted to run, run away from this conversation and to somewhere where she knew she wouldn't feel icky and creeped out.
