[If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, and then make a change]
[Fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me!]
[Your mind can never change unless you ask it to]
[I am corruption…the angel…of your destruction]
[How about me enjoying the moment for once]
[I’m on the right track, baby, I was born this way]
[The moon’s my teacher, and I’m her student]
[I’m just a soul whose intentions are good; Oh lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood]
[There’s more important things than hearing you speak]
[But don’t ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to]
[I don’t need to fight to prove I’m right]
[I’m everything that you could never be]
[No one is exempt from the Odds of Even]
[It’s now or never]
[You can’t always get what you want/You get what you need]

Witchy Ways to Care for Yourself
Witchcraft does not, in any way, replace the medication, the therapy, or the doctors that you may need. Get proper care if you have any health problems!
Witchy things you can do to provide yourself with peace and spiritual care:
Cleanse and clean your space regularly.
Ground
Meditate
Sit down to reflect and think
Offer gratitude to any spirits, deities, elements, etc. that you work with.
Spend time in nature
Get some sleep to let yourself recharge and rest
Think positive thoughts as much as possible
Create a sigil that has a “healing” “self care” “positive thinking” meaning to scatter around you.
Create a positive chant to say to yourself when you need some positivity.
Create your own tea blend to calm and offer you comfort.
Get a plant that you connect with. Whenever you are feeling down care for it, whether you are watering it, fertilizing it, singing to it, or reciting poetry to it. Name it. Provide it with the happiness that you are lacking.
Provide yourself with a playlist or soundtrack to play when you need to calm down and unwind.
Create your own daily rituals to help keep you grounded.
Drink a cup of tea.
Send thanks and say good morning to the sun when you wake up and wish the moon goodnight before you fall asleep.
Garden
Carry rose quartz, citrine, and tigers eye with you to boost your self esteem and self confidence.
Take a moment to BREATH
Journal
Carry a crystal that you take favor to and feel familiar with.
Turn off all the electronics in your room. Lights, cellphone, laptop, ect. Light some candles and write in your grimoire or read a book.
Create a self care jar and add herbs and crystals with self-care type correspondences. Leave it somewhere that you can see it. Charge it with good intentions so whenever you look at it, it brings you a small bit of happiness.
Look up at the stars.
Talk to the moon.
Take a long bath and add lavender to calm yourself. Maybe light some candles as well.
Connect and spend time with your tarot deck, familiar, magick tools, etc.
Make something magickal whether you cook or craft it. But let it come from the heart.
Do some yoga.
Exercise
Cloud watch
Do not forget to take your prescribed medication, it was prescribed to you for a reason.
May the moon light your path!

The Wiccan’s Glossary
Wat are the most important plants for a witch to at least start wit
This is a fantastic question!!!!
Okay, so I dunno about anyone else, but since I’m a kitchen witch, most of the herbs I think are the most important can be found at any store anywhere for pretty effing cheap. That being said, Here’s my very personal list!
Basil!
Super Easy to find, I use basil for a zillion things, including but not limited to; protection, money, good luck, curses, happiness, spirit work, and banishing! I also would recommend any kitchen witch ever to grow your own plant in your windowsill. It draws in good luck, kicks out any nasties, and tastes delicious in literally everything!
Mint!!
First off, I love all things minty. It makes me feel fresh and clean and brilliant and powerful. Second of all, it’s a surprisingly good addition to Italian recipes, like my spaghetti(little does my girlfriend know)! Besides for that, it’s also really good medicinally for treating upset stomaches, headaches, and congestions/colds. I use mint in money spells, as well as for good luck, happiness, and protection!
Lavender!!!!!!!!
I don’t know if I can even put into words my undeniable love and obsession for this little purple flower. First off, I thin kit smells like the most dazzling thing in the world. I love it. Second, it’s so good for you and your body. It’s an astringent, it helps with headaches, its good for flesh wounds, it helps you sleep, it helps me when I’m nauseous, and it puts me in a better mood. I use lavender in every single working I do just about. I consider it and coffee grounds like my signature, so to speak. But anywho, you can use it for sleep magick, happiness, relaxation, emotional works, protection, love, de-stressing, dream magick, I even use it for spirit work.
Black Pepper
This is so basic and so simple! I use black pepper the most in my powder mixtures, including but not limited to curse powders, confusion powders, banishing mixtures, and protection mixes. Black pepper is a powerful herb in my practice, and one I couldn’t possibly go without! Not to mention it’s a necessity in cooking!
Rosemary!
Rosemary is another super common kitchen herb, and one that I think goes incredibly well with omelets :) Besides that, rosemary always struck me as an herb that focuses around the heart. Because of this I’ve always used it in things like love spells, or relationships, family, friendships etc. You can add it to sweetening jars, use it for protection, and also for good luck.
Chili Powder or Cayenne
I don’t really separate the uses of these, except when using one of the other I may decide to include the opposite to add exra fire or heat to a spell. I use spicy, hot herbs in spells for romance, passion, sex, protection, and curses as well! I also like to use hot sauce sometimes!
Other Not Necessarily Herbs I Recommend
Coffee Grounds
I use this as a signature of sorts on all of my spells. It makes them uniquely mine! But asides for that, I also use them to give extra boosts of power to my workings. Coffee is a stimulant, so I use it when I need…well..stimulation! Examples would include money spells, attraction spells of all kinds, curses, protection, banishings, and anything else I want to give a little nudge to.
Salt!
I don’t even think I need to go into this one that much?? Salt is a witches best friend! Good for everything and anything from purification to banishing to charging to cursing.
Dandelion
It’s very easy to find, and useful for spells requiring stability and longevity. Often times I decide what properties an herb has by thinking about its natural tendencies. Dandelion is a voracious weed, spreading quickly, and very hard to eliminate. It’s roots are deep and strong and sometimes impossible to remove. IT’s a solid, structured plant and so I use it in spells where I need strength and foundation.
Sugar!
Good for lots of stuff, including love spells, friendships, sweetening jars, emotional works, romance, protection and attraction spells of all kinds(like drawing in money, or attention or a job etc.) Can also be used as a body scrub that is heavenly for your skin!
Okay, That’s my most basic and simple recommendations! I hope this is useful enough to get you started Nonny!
Infused Water Magic
perhaps it’s a bit too warm for coffee potions, or hot chocolate magic, or even tea spells, but you still want to work a little magic into your day. infused waters! here’s just a couple of suggestions with fruit and even herbs, and their correspondences.
for all recipes, chop, cube, or slice all fresh ingredients. let them sit in a bottle of cool water for a few hours. the longer it waits, the more flavor infuses. afterwards, you can eat the fruit or infuse it again!

“Some insignificant things that I’ve accidentally learned as a witch:
1. Listen to the roses, embark on what they instruct with light feet. They know how to beautify themselves without losing their true meaning of defense.
2. You don’t have to speak, people are theaters. I learn the most from remaining quiet. Offer a smile to the strangers that catch you watching their stories through their movements and gestures.
3. Though it knows you well and may hesitate to do so, the lake will still drown you.
4. A simple kiss will enchant any object. They deserve your love as well as any other.
5. You will find what you are looking for. It will arrive in a manner that you did not expect.
6. The stars listen. They’ve listened for millions of years and continue to show no exhaust for your prayers.”

Sometimes it can be difficult getting your hands on everything you need for a spell. In scenarios like that, these substitutions will come in handy. These are generally easy to find, as opposed to some rarer or pricier ingredients used in magic.
