Smudging, depending on the tradition and tribe, could easily have dancing and drums involved. You, as a white person, do not have the cultural BACKGROUND to even know how it works. At all. Period.

3) please, for FUCKS SAKE, stop making posts here on tumblr where you tell other white people about cultural appropriation and what they can and cannot do. Please stop, your license has been revoked because none of you bother to get the facts right. We native people are FULLY CAPABLE OF DOING IT OURSELVES. im so so so stressed rn. money is so scary for me and I work at a school so I only get paid once a month at the end of September but my pets need to go to the vet (my dog has an eye ulcer and could lose his vision & my kitten has worms) and it’s going to be like 400 bucks that I don’t have on top of bills and I just want to cry this pandemic has literally done nothing but fuck me up mentally and messed up all my opportunities i hate it so much

I hate to ask for any money but rn I have no choice because my pets are my entire world but I don’t have the money for their vet appointments. If my dog goes blind I won’t forgive myself especially if it’s preventable. This is his first vet emergency in his whole life and he’s so terrified and I can’t do anything besides just comfort him and it’s tearing me up. I barely have money for bills because I don’t get paid till the end of September since I’m a school employee and we just started the school year & my part time unemployment is frozen due to someone trying to steal my SSN. I live at a mountain chain that is made up of a lot of shale. I personally use shale plates as tablets for writing bindings and curses and a neat thing with them is that you can break them if you need.

That's a great option for me as I can easily and cheaply get shale slates and they also connect with my magic much more than some shiny rocks mined unethically in poor parts of the world.

But did you know you can smoke certain herbs, and actually make a very lovely tasting, and even pleasant smelling, blend? Some herbs are highly medicinal and can give you benefits.
