So the order of my fanfictions (yes you do kind of have to go in order) is starting to get kind of confusing so I’m gonna try and explain it here with links.
So for those who don’t know, I write and publish Beyblade fanfiction on my Wattpad and Quotev and some of them on my sideblog here on Tumblr, BeybladeFanfictions. Here’s a more precise masterlist/order of reading (the links I’m gonna use are the Wattpad ones because I find that site the easiest to read off.)
This is my only fanfiction that takes place during canon. It’s basically a rewrite of Kyoya’s mini arc in Fury where he leaves the group because I felt like it could be improved. It’s very short, only three chapters and can be read whenever. It’s not every really directly acknowledged in any of my other stories.
This story takes place right after the ending of Fury and is essentially just a Ryuga lives story with a twist: he no longer has L-Drago. It’s required reading for pretty much every other fanfiction I’ve written, particularly for its sequels.
This story is incredibly silly. It’s just the characters playing Among Us on a Discord call and does have some uncharacteristic swearing in it. (I avoid having the Beyblade characters swear in my more serious works). It takes place between Ryuga’s Return and L-Drago’s Return. It doesn’t really effect L-Drago’s Return that much (I think I wrote those two around the same time) but its continuity is acknowledged in Ryuga x King. It’s not necessarily required to read that but it does explain how Ryuga and King know each other (besides their canon meeting on Beyster Island) and build up their future relationship.
This is probably my favourite Beyblade fanfiction that I’ve written, partly because it’s the one where I’m the meanest to the characters. Sorry Kenta :( It takes place five months after Ryuga’s Return. It was written with Bey-Mong Us in mind but doesn’t really acknowledge it directly besides some implications in the last chapter.
The sequel to L-Drago’s Return and kind of Bey-Mong Us considering it’s about a ship I introduced there. I ended up making this one really long because it’s not just about the ship, it was about wrapping up Ryuga’s character arc this series in a way that I felt was satisfying. It was meant to feel very final. This is my only story to have multiple POVS, with Ryuga being the focus some chapters and King being the focus of others.
My Random Beyblade One-Shots
Okay, this is where I start needlessly complicating things. Technically you can just read all of these one-shots after Ryuga x King with no issue but they take place... all over the place. Chronologically, this is the order:
This one-shot about Reiji and Tsubasa takes place before Ryuga x King. It’s in Reiji’s POV:
Then this one where Ryuga and Kenta go stargazing takes place between the Ryuga x King chapters “A Departing Battle” and “A Fierce Rematch” which is when it first came out, though it was written way after. It’s in Ryuga’s POV:
Next this one which I originally posted here for Mayblade where Reiji is scared of thunder for... obvious reasons. I say it takes place before the next one since Yu and Reiji are on better terms in that one. It’s in Tsubasa’s POV:
Onto this battle between Reiji and King, which takes place during the first Ryuga x King bonus chapter, and just shows Reiji’s POV on an event that chapter alluded to:
And finally this one-shot where Ryuga gets glasses that takes place after Ryuga x King, I wanna say a couple weeks after? It briefly acknowledges Bey-Mong Us’s continuity as well and is in Ryuga’s POV:
The other two one-shots in there are x OC one-shots that I found cute enough to publish and don’t really connect to anything else. They connect to each other loosely but not to any of the other fics.
Now onto my most recent disaster:
Bey-Mong Us 2
This is a new story and takes place after Ryuga x King and everything else I’ve published. I won’t give too many details now since it’s new but it takes place quite a while after the original Bey-Mong Us and changes up the formula a bit. If I write anything after this (which I might, who knows), I’ll make a reblog of this post with the details.
Was doing Art Fight prep stuff and I meant to put the mfb logos on my ref sheets so you can easily tell they are beyblade OCs
(I also have some dc OCs on there and am hoping to upload some of my original OC stuff by next year)
But I realized that the AF rules state you have to redraw all logos you wanna upload so I thought redesigning the logos to fit my au would be fun
So here they are (+ the logo for my original season 4 concept hehehe)
I’m rewriting every season to have a different protagonist (Masamune for s2, Yuki for s3, Julian for s4) cuz I love Ginga but I also think sometimes the show gives him too much attention
Hence the different bey designs in the corner :)
