In one branch of Greek mythology, Hera ejected Hephaestus from the heavens because of his congenital impairment. He fell into the ocean and was raised by Thetis (mother of Achilles and one of the 50 Nereids) and the Oceanid Eurynome.

Just finished reading Aeschylus’ Prometheus and boy oh boy if that guy ain’t got that sass in him

Last ten pages were just him and Hermes dissing each other, so obv I had to draw smth

And then there’s Kratos (actually the personification of power, but I can’t help myself and I just think of Gow Kratos), Hephaestus who feels bad about NAILING Prometheus to a rock and Prometheus who use saw the thing that is about to go through his poor chest
