// ADMIN MESSAGE (PART TWO) (A letter to my peers within the Pressure fandom.)

PART ONE I didn't want this part of my message to come across as an attempt to silence the situation, so I've separated it into its own post. My support and respect are 100% with Ren at this time, as should be yours. Please understand that I only intend to offer comfort to those of us who may be grieving the loss of comfort in their special interest. For those of you who are also struggling with the idea of just abandoning Pressure and its community because of the aforementioned development, I want you to know that you are not alone in this. Feelings can always be complicated and irrational, even when it feels like they shouldn't be. People in online spaces (especially Twitter, god I hate Twitter) love to pretend that nobody else is human, that you're unforgivably evil for having complicated feelings over something that wasn't even strictly black and white to begin with. Hello, certified autistic adult with a weirdly deep understanding of psychology here. It is okay to want to keep things that bring you comfort. You are not complicit just because you enjoy something that bad people had a hand in creating. If we weren't allowed to like things that bad people had a hand in creating, our lives would be genuinely miserable. That being said, supporting those bad people, even if they're still making the thing you like, should be out of the question entirely. Remain firm in your stance against those who have done wrong. Continue to show your support for those who are affected by the actions of bad people. Be consistent and refuse to shift your moral standing in favor of the guilty party, even if they offer something desirable for doing so. As long as you continue to openly acknowledge and accept that the bad people who made the thing you like are bad, there is no logical, sensible person in the world that could even remotely consider you guilty by association. You are not a bad person for wanting to keep the community you've grown to love alive. You are not a bad person for continuing to enjoy the story that Pressure was made to tell. You are not a bad person for continuing to love the characters that bring you comfort. To say that you are is to imply that you couldn't possibly be human, which... would just be fucking ridiculous, wouldn't it? It's okay to have mixed feelings about this. I promise you, it isn't worth it to beat yourself up over it. Let yourself find joy in the little things, regardless of how they found their way into your life. Apologies for my extremely belated addition to the pool of posts regarding the document that was released by Ren earlier today. I have literally been typing this for 6 solid hours. I'd like to preface this by introducing myself formally (as I regrettably have yet to do so). I am EROSIA, the sole puppeteer behind the Bezaliel SillyHQ blog and persona in general. I have quietly been invested in the Pressure community since about mid-2024, supporting the developers financially whenever possible and dedicating literal months of my life to studying the game and its story. To be clear, this isn't an exaggeration— I have quite literally spent so much time focused on Pressure that I've barely interacted with anyone outside of my quiet online space for two years. Autism is a hell of a drug, I'll have you know. Needless to say, although I am a more reserved character and prefer to go unnoticed in the communities that I am a part of, I have been around prominently and for a very long time. This game is important to me on a level that is not easily described, as I'm sure it is to many of you. With all this having been said, I'm sure you can imagine how the day's events have left me feeling. I'm willing to bet that you feel similarly, considering the fact that you're still reading this. It isn't exactly easy to learn that something so personal to you has been permanently tainted by the deplorable actions of its creators. It isn't easy to learn that someone you looked up to is capable of hurting another person in such a vile, disgusting way. And it wasn't just Zeal's actions that made this so bad, either. Assuming I've interpreted the information correctly, there were prominent figures that knew about what Ren went through— that, for whatever reason, chose silence over someone's life. If there is anything we should've taken from history by now, it's that silence is complicity. Their silence has left us, their audience, an innocent third party, blindsided and scrambling to pick up the pieces. Their silence has forced a victim to stand up and fight for their own justice, unsupported by the only people that could've immediately done something about it. Their silence is unequivocally complicity, and I honest to god hope they know it. It has shattered any chance of regaining trust. It has permanently scarred something that was (and still is) loved by a lot of people. It was a fundamental, catastrophic failure on their part— a betrayal to all of us at best, and an unforgivable act of malice at worst. I could go on and on with how pissed, disgusted, and heartbroken I am about the situation, but nothing I have to say about it really matters. What matters is what we choose to do about it. Ren has all of my love and support in their battle right now, and I hope to god they have yours, too. They have expressed their sorrow for all of us, so literally the bare fucking minimum we can do is return the favor. Heal the wounded now, worry about the enemy later— there will always come a day of judgment for those who choose cowardice over accountability. I truly, genuinely hope that releasing this information will ultimately serve to help Ren in their recovery. I hope that Zeal and whoever else is guilty by association get what they deserve, whatever that may be. I hope that we, as a community, can find peace amongst ourselves, even if it's looking like an uphill battle. Take care of yourselves. All of you are loved. PART TWO
