Ancient Trees: Beth Moon Spends 14 Years Photographing Worldâs Oldest Trees
Beth Moon, a photographer based in San Francisco, has been searching for the worldâs oldest trees for the past 14 years. She has traveled all around the globe to capture the most magnificent trees that grow in remote locations and look as old as the world itself.
âStanding as the earthâs largest and oldest living monuments, I believe these symbolic trees will take on a greater significance, especially at a time when our focus is directed at finding better ways to live with the environmentâ writes Moon in her artist statement.
Sixty of Beth Moonâs duotone photos were published in a book titled âAncient Trees: Portraits Of Timeâ. Here you can have a sneak preview of the book, full of strangest and most magnificent trees ever.

Packaging for Naked Senses by Maks Arbuzov & Pavel Gubin
âWhen you can feel without any distraction around. It gives you the true image of the world. Where unnecessary details and decorations donât exist. Where just one touch can convey more than million characters. Only at this moment your senses become naked. You see what you have to see. You hear what you have to hear. You feel what you have to feel. Just bare your senses.â
Maksim Arbuzov is a graphic designer and art director from Moscow, Russia. Born in 1981 in Siberian city Tomsk. He studied branding and graphic design at Central Saint Martins and British Higher School of Art & Design, and has worked as a freelancer since 2002.
