Patti Smith is a force to be reckoned with. Saw her twice this year - here at the magnificent State Theatre with the full band and again at the Opera House on her ownsome. Both performances were awe inspiring, a total joy. Was pre-warned that this “seated” show would be anything but. Our seats were in the very last row and we were out of them halfway through the first song and down the front by the third!
