“I guess so” He shrugged “I just don’t want anything to happen with the ones that I love, he seemed pretty determined to kill Tyler”
“I promise Rory, we’ll protect Tyler and help Cass,” Scott said squeezing Rory’s shoulder.

“We can go to Deaton, maybe he knows what Cas is,” Scott said. “Wait, how did you get involved in all this?”

“Everyone has the propensity to be good and I must admit, Lockwood is better than many, but this is not a case of wanting to kill him, it is a case of having to kill him. Lockwood is one of the few entities I have entered who I am apprehensive to kill. But he called me. so it is as it is to be.”
“I have no idea as to what I am and care not, I just am…However, my name is, Gaius Cassius Longinus. I was born many centuries ago and died a valiant death, even though those wretched history books state otherwise!”
“Why do you have to kill him,” Scott asked he sat waiting, hoping Cas would explain. Maybe there was a a way to avoid anything bad happening if they could find answers, “You said he called you, what do you mean?” Scott had heard of spirits that could be invoked, was Cas on of those, did Tyler call him by accident.
“Then you tell me about you, I was never good at history, only history class I ever did well in was when Coach covered after our history teacher was a human sacrifice and he related everything back to sports.”

“Whoa, whoa,” Stiles interjects, brow furrowing. “I wouldn’t make it if I couldn’t keep it, dude, you know that. Derek said he understood – besides, he’s not gonna be coming with me all the time. Isaac might though. He’s coming up to New York for school too.” He wonders if that’s another blow for Scott, but then again, he’s not sure how close he and Isaac ever were to begin with. “Nobody’s giving anybody up, you hear me? It’s gonna take a lot more than that to get rid of me. You’re my brother from another mother.”
Scott wanted to believe Stiles but so many had made similar promises and had never come back. His father, Erica, Aiden, Allison, they all said they’d come back and here he stood alone. Hearing another person was leaving Scott tried not to flinch. Everyone was leaving, moving on with their lives, Scott wondered if he’d ever get to. He just couldn’t abandon the city and it’s humans to the evils that filled the shadows. He did understand what made him different, why did he feel like it was his responsibility. Scott nodded, he didn’t have any choice but to trust Stiles at this point. “I should go, I need to go feed the horses and Deaton’s going to look over the colt, Boyd.”

“He is not Tyler, he is nothing like Tyler, he adores to cause drama and is an asshole, we have to keep an eye on him”

“He did, it was weird, cause I’m not interested in guys, they’re just not my thing, I’ve had guys hit on me before, but having Tyler flirt with me, was weird.”

Things are good, except for the fact that there’s this guy, that look exactly like Ty, but is most definitely not him, and we have to find a way to destroy him before he kill Ty.
“Yea, I met him, I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to look at Tyler and not blush,” Scott said sheepishly, “Why does he want to kill, Tyler?”

what am I doing to poor ole Ty? I could have killed him, but from the greatness of my none existent heart I kept him alive. Although breaking his neck did give me a sense of utter exhilaration but never the less… I allowed him to live.
I think I should get a knight hood, I’ve not had one of those yet, but I was King Henry for a bit there. He really should of taken better care of his body.
“You let him live and you think that’s something to be proud of? Doesn’t it bother you that you even thought about killing him,’ Scott exclaimed. “Ty’s a good guy, why woudl you want to hurt him,’ Scott asked. He had never really talked to, “What are you? A gollum, a spirit,” Scott hesitated, “Void?”

Stiles gives a nod of agreement, grinning. “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe I could put ‘survived Lima for nineteen years’ on my resume – that’s gotta count for something, right?” He chuckles, though it trails away when he notices his best friend hesitating. “Hey, man – look at me,” He brings a hand up to rest on Scott’s shoulder, squeezing it and jostling him around a little. “My dad’s still here, and so are you and Rory. I’m coming back to visit whenever I can.”
Scott nodded, “Totally should count for something.” Scott sighed, “Dont’ make promises you can’t keep Stiles, you’re Derek’s mate, he’s not going to like you being around another alpha, I knew eventually you would have to choose and it’s okay, I get it, mates, it’s just, it’s hard to give up my best friend,” Scott said quietly. He didn’t know how he was going to survive without Stiles there, Stiles the one with a plan, the brains to his brawn, but Scott would have to, “I’m glad you’re getting out of here,” Scott said honestly, “At least in New York it’s so big no one pack has claim over it so you’ll be safe and they seem to work together whenever there is a threat.”

Hearing Scott’s voice in the barn, Erica’s ears perked up and she slowly made her way into the barn until she was next to the stall Scott was in. Quietly, she laid down on her belly and crawled over to the edge of the stall door where she whimpered just loud enough for Scott to hear her but not loud enough to scare the colt. Erica wasn’t sure how Scott was going to react with her being gone for so long, so although she was laying down, her muscles were tensed, ready to run if things didn’t go well.
Scott turned towards the sound to see the wolf on it’s belly. He wishes he could say he recognized her immediately on sight but it wasn’t until he caught her scent that he realized that this wasn’t any wolf, it was Erica. “Erica, is it you,” he asked quietly as he held out his hand slowly to try to stroke the wolf. He’d forgotten how beautiful she had been in this form. “You can come in, he’s been around enough wolves to not be scared of them.”

Dragging herself through the woods, Erica finally caught the scent of something familiar and it felt like energy just coursed through her body. Taking off towards the scent, she recognized the outskirts of the reservoir. Erica felt like she had been stuck as a wolf for too long and didn’t know how to be anything but that anymore. Reluctantly, she trotted through the woods to her home, yipping and yowling at the front door, hoping someone would hear her.
Scott was out back with the newest colt that had been born weeks before. There had been complication and no one was sure if the colt was going to make it but Scott wouldn’t give up. He laid with the colt every night feeding it with a bottle and keeping it warm. It was better then sleeping in their empty bed. He had been so confused and hurt when he had released that Erica had left him. She didn’t even say good-bye. “It’s okay Boyd, we’ll get through this together,” he promised the little colt.

“Okay, congrats, I never doubted for a minute you would be accepted. They would’ve been crazy not to have and hey, NYPD could have some super secret branch that polices our kind, that Grimm or Dyson from that show about the succubus.” Scott looks at the ground not knowing how to react. He was happy and proud of his friend, but New York was so far away.
