Can you imagine God creating Golgatha? Can you imagine Him forming the hill where His beloved Son would be tortured and killed? His hand sweeping the dust to form solid ground. The rocks settling, the grass growing in patches here and there. Can you imagine His anguish at seeing His beautiful creation being used to destroy His own Son? The pain He must have felt as the cross stabbed the earth? When Mary fell to her knees in the dirt, did He shudder? Did He weep not just for His Son, but the hill He brought into existence? Can you imagine the despair and pain? Can you imagine?
What about the cross?
He plants this lovely tree, lets it grow tall and strong, all so it can be chopped down to form the cross that His son is nailed to.
Every spring leaf sprouting, every autumn burst of color all for the day it will be the death of the Lord's Son.

Please please please, young people on this app. You do not need to alter your eating to appear like the famous people you are seeing. They are unwell and harming their bodies, you were put into the body you have to nurture it and love it, not starve it
The Christian Teens community on Tumblr has so many concerning posts where people encourage one another to cut out any "secular" or "satanic" music or tv and tell vulnerable teens that they don't need psychiatric meds because mental illness is spiritual warfare. It's really appalling how this type of scrupulosity is encouraging young people to constantly corner themselves into an echo chamber where anything not related to their religion and culture is evil and the cause of their mental health issues. I understand teens may want to deepen their relationship with God, but that does not mean disassociating yourself from anything not apparently congruent with your worldview. Leading people astray is so awful and I hope they realize the damage it does.
