Self worth is SO HARD when growing up you were taught the toxic "realities" of the Christian religion.

"be happy, Jesus loves you"

Both my parents, and my God were CONSTANTLY telling me I wasn't good enough, I was a wretched sinner, and a woman! My place was to serve others (especially men) and to repent for my sins, while CONSTANTLY going out of my mind with worries about the end of time, and the state of other people's souls.

I'm so thankful to be free BUT GOD DAMNIT it takes a lot of work to remind myself of my self worth!
