Heroic Deeds || Aurora & Gaston

Aurora normally was good at paying attention to her surroundings. She kept her things close to her no matter what ring she was in and tried to keep her head up and look as unapproachable as possible when she was in a hurry. She knew that wasn’t always the case; she could be too nice for her own good, but she still gave it a solid try.
Today started off normal: she was making her way to a job that was close enough to walk and was only stopped once. The man asked her for directions and just when Aurora thought things were okay, he snatched her purse and ran off. Aurora was stunned to say the least and wasn’t sure what to do. She ended up finding the first person who looked close enough to law enforcement and tugged at their arm, even though she knew it wasn’t the most professional.
“I’m so sorry sir! I just don’t know what to do. He has my purse!” She pointed to the man still running down the street and bit her lip. “I don’t think I can catch him…”
Gaston was doing standard patrol for the day, a decent time up and out of any offices or bases. He appreciated these moments, being a face for the people to confide in and trust, getting a chance to say his hellos and see the people he had dedicated his life to protecting.
He hadn't even caught sight of the man clearly sprinting off with a purse until the blonde young woman was tugging at his sleeve and there he suddenly was, careening down the narrow street in the bright warm filtered light. He caught up to him fairly quickly, the confrontation a short one once Gaston made his intent to arrest him quite clear. The man practucally threw it at him.
Offered or not, Gaston returned to the girl with her things in hand, chuckling under his breath as he handed it back. "Hopefully it's all there, I seem to have intimidated that petty thief of yours."
